On 9/11, I woke up, went up to the kitchen, turned on the telly... and saw a plane fly into the WTC. What a way to wake up. I almost immediately got in contact with a friend who was living in Chicago at the time, I feared that whoever was attacking us would hit ALL the major cities, and I was worried since she lived close to downtown Chicago. This was also the day my keyboard tray collapsed as I wrote my opinions on the subject in the news section of... theSmarks forum, which technically makes tommorow my 2 year anniversary on these boards. thankfully (for me), I didn't know anybody who died.
