I'll agree with Hudson Hawk. That movie was always a guilty pleasure of mine. Ad Elecktra to the list. I thought it was a good action movie.

Well, those pics put my mind to rest on how Downey will LOOK as Tony Stark. Now I only wonder how well he can play him. But those pics really got me stoked for this movie. I can't wait for next May.

I wonder, if and when they find Earth, what kind of Earth will they find? Are they going to keep it 'real Earth' like the original series (rather, BSG 1980, I believe), or will they do a more evolved Earth.

Well, Season 8 is off to a great start, though if you didn't like the Initiative in the series you may be a bit put off. Still, a solid first issue, worth picking up.

You know, my problem with the last couple of episodes haven't been about the stories, but about their placement. Specifially the last two, and the upcomming episodes- First, Cally and Tyrol are put in a life or death situation and barely surive, then the Chief is leading a strike against Adama, and next week Starbuck breks down, despite looking alright this episode. I know that, in the show, time passes, but it still moves too fast at times.

It won't work with just synching. You have to move your library over from your desktop to your laptop either with a data transfer (like Vista's file synching program) or by doing what I did and copying your library to an external hard drive, then switch the hard drive to your laptop and copy again. It's a pain in the ass, but apparently iTunes only allows you to synch to one computer at a time.

On the Welcome Center menu, there is an option 'Transfer files and settings'. This will launch the file transfer program (which you will have to copy onto your other computer- just copy it to a disk then move it over). Then you can either transfer files between your computers using your wireless internet (like I did) or use some cable that you can buy (that I won't spend money on). As for Vista, I just bought a new laptoip and it came pre-loaded with home Premium. I like it- it runs pretty smooth, I love the look and feel, I like Media Center (even though it has issues with some of my movie files for some reason), and though it took some getting used to, I like the new Start menu. On the bad side- third party developer support. It took me a while to install Nero because the version I had wasn't Vista-capable (had to download that version via bit torrent). The install thing that pops up is annoying as well. Additionally, I have an external hard drive that I plug in, but it always sets off this error message: 'COM Surrogate has stopped working' I have no idea what the hell this means (and it really doesn't affect anything, I just have to keep clicking the message off to get things moving again). But it really is annoying.

I think they realized that, and are now trying to move away from the religious stuff.Maybe the rest of the season will head back into what made the show truly great in the first two seasons.

Okay, I was actually wondering when Helo got moved to the Hanger deck. And the way things are going, those 'Previously on' scenes were probably cut scenes from an earlier episode. I'm thinking every episode on the Season 3 DVD's is going to be extended. Still, you got to admit that this was way better than last week (and much better than Black Market, though I can see the comparisons). Though I'm wondering now if Roslin will figure out that Baltar has been seeing Six in his head, now that she's seen the real Six doing some of the same things Baltar did in earlier seasons (interacting with nothing, to be specific.)

Well, so far this episode's heads and shoulders over last weeks. Mental Baltar, Helo and Tigh going at it, and a good old-fashioned mystery instead of the infernal love-story of the past few weeks.

Chance- it's a small, independently produced movie from Amber Benson I bought a few years ago, but never got to watching.

I actually got this from the whedon.info newsletter, though I've seen it at Gateworld.net: Not sure how many here watch either SG-1 or Atlantis, but both shows have been a staple for my friday nights since Season 6 when I got Sci-fi, though I didn't watch it as much last season. The block of SG-1, Atlantis, and BSG was great, though. Also of note, both Stargates will be readching their mid-season in September, where they will take a SIX MONTH BREAK and come back in March. In the mean time, BSG will air all new episodes.

Speaking of Stargate: While neitehr show is set to come back to Sci-Fi until March or April, new episodes are being shown in Canada right now, and the season finale's are coming up mid-febuary. So if you want to see all new episodes of SG-1 or Atlantis, they are available to download on your favorite bit torrent or Bearshare program.

Season 1- pretty bad. Season 2-got better, but still not quite there. Seasons 3 & 4- some of the best quality TV I have ever seen. Season 5 was too, for the most part.
