Whedon pulls out of Wonder Woman project
Anakin Flair replied to Atticus Chaos's topic in Television & Film
It's Wonder Woman. Who cares? -
Undertaker on Raw? Wassupwitdat?

You know, despite the Baltar stuff this was a pretty disapointing episode. I don't really buy 'Drunk Lee', as he has to work with Tigh and knows what it would be like, and the whole Kara/Lee storyline just dominated too much of the episode. When did the Chief and Cally start having problems? Why the frack would Adama allow a bar to be built on what I'm guessing is the starbord hangar bay? and what happeend with Sharon, Helo and their kid? Heck, they even glanced over th whole Caprica Six deffection by squeexing it into a deleted scene that youy only saw part of after the episode! All in all, the best parts about this episode were Adama, Baltar, and Bad-Ass Roslin.
-
Damn, Roslin is bad-ass this episode.
-
Not sure if this will actually happen, or if it was a dream sequence, but on the preview for tonights BSG they showed a scene

TV deaths that pissed you off or upset you

Morph came back, though. I forgot about Blake on M*A*S*H. I remeber watching that and sitting in stunned silence wheny they announced his plane had been shot down. I know that Joss had wanted to do what he did with Tara with Jesse, but still it sucked. And who was Mandy? was she the political advisor that Josh had a fling with in Season 1? -

Tara on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, especially since they kileld ehr off the same damn episode they made her a regular. -
I just don't think it was Tyrol- I eman, he and Caly had a kid, surely they did bloodwork on it, and would have found out anything suspicious from that. As for the whhole temple thing, I think it was meant to be divine intervention. If he had destroyed it, he might not have realised what the Eye of Jupiter was supposed to be.
-
No, it's not Tyrol. Maybe Rosalin...

Well, we know how Sharon gets on the baseship now. Now how will she get off?

I also thought Starbuck initially, because of what was said in season 1 or 2 by Six, about Starbuck having a 'destiny'. I could actually see her being one of the earlier human Cylon models that were boxed, but she alone survived. I just said Anders to facilityat the romance arc a little.
-
Also, on the promos they said that someone will discover they are a Cylon. Wonder who it will be (if not the obvious choice). I'll go out on a limb and say Anders.

Speaking of which, they are already releasing the first four hours of 24 on DVD.
-
Damnit, I forgot it was on tonight. Someone tell me what happened!
-
Is it me, or is King just not into it tonight?
-
Fraking right. This was my favorite episode of TV last year, period- and one I still keep on my iPod to watch over and over again.
-
Has it been that long? Man...

From DavisDVD.com: While I could understand pulling the first two off of the shelves, PoA and Goblet haven't been out on the shelf for as long- Goblet especially, which just came out on DVD only a few months ago.

I mostly mean for the special effects. I was suprised how well they have held up over time, especially (most) of the flying.

not so much a villian, he was just doing what Galactus was bidding him to do as his herald. So he's a Tweener?

Since quick edit isn't working... EDIT: Listening to the Donner commentary on the extended movie, I'm amazed on how many of the crew are dead now. On a lighter note, I was amazed to learn that David Prowse trainedChristopher Reeves.

Finally picked up the original Superman tonight. I forgot how enjoyable it is, even for a movie made back in the seventies.

Well, I just saw the preview for The Hitcher today. The remake will star Sean Bean in Rutger Hauer's role. All I have to say is FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Is Hollywood so out of ideas that they have to remake a film that was made only twenty years ago? Are they that bankrupt? I don't even LIKE horror movies, but I'm gettign sick of them being remade every other month. Sorry, just had to rant.
