I stopped caring about the Oscars years ago. I didn't even watch, I just followed the results on IMDB. It's all politics; talent is a distant second requirement.

Sure. The Academy saw that Rourke was cashing in on this movie with a deal at Wrestlemania, so the Academy gave it to Penn instead. See, Vince is to blame! Too bad wrestling fans can't get into a deal like this. The whole crowd would be chanting 'Bullshit' right about now.

I keep thinking of the second One Night Stand, when it was RVD vs Cena and the fans had a sign that said "If Cena wins, we riot." Subsitute Penn for Cena.

Heath died in time for last year's Oscars. Also to the whining about Button winning, come on. The visual effects in that movie were more impressive than anything in TDK or Iron Man Button was the only one of the three nominees that I haven't seen; I just can't imagine what kind of effects it had that could top Iron Man. Aside from the aging deal, what else did that moviue have? I'm being serious here, I'm curious.

I'm calling bullshit on these Oscars. Benjamin Button wins over TDK and IRON MAN for visual effects? For what? Brad Pitt going from old to young? I swear, if Heath hadn't died, he probably wouldn't have even been nominated, let alone win.

Heath actually won? I really wasn't expecting him to, despite the odds in favor.

I did horrible- only 79 out of 120. FOr the life of me, despite watching, I could not think of the last two IC champs. Also, I can't believe that Matt Hardy has never held the IC belt!

I recently read The Host by Stephanie Meyer, and thought it was a very good book. I'd recomend that to anybody. Also Doppleganger and Warrior and Witch by Marie Brennan. Excellent books.

I got a Western Digital 500 Gig External HD right now- and it's almost completely filled up. I'm thinking about getting the 1 TB WD external from Tiger Direct- it's only $110 right now, I think. Next up is Hellblazer, but it will be a big one.

Wow, what a sup-par episode this was. Aside from the baby cylon dying, NOTHING HAPPENED. Everybody is exactly where they were at the begining of the episode. Next week looks good, though. Lookslike we'll finally find out exactly what Kara is. And after that, I believe, are the final three which is supposed to be a three-part arc to finish things off.
