Te be fair, I haven't read any of his earlier works excepts for the NJO books he's written. And I thought it was much better than Rebel Dream. -

Yeah, I finisheed it in a few days. Great book, and a great kick off to the new series. I'm looking forward to seeing how things develop -
Wasn't a more recent version of Optimus Prime this kind of truck? I seem to remember a newer cartoon where he looked like this. That being said, I still wanted a flat cab. But this will do.

Just picked this up today, and am watching it now. Lots of good stuff in it so far. Lots of old matches, old TV stuff (ROBOCOP?!), and a very good doc ont he first page. And, they go indepth ont he polkadots. Can't forget the polkadots.

Vince needs to stop exagerating the walk. it just looks terrible now.

You really have no concept of history and impact, do you? I'm with him. Wendi was HUGE in her era, she was bigger than Trish Stratus is now and was a hero to young girls. Vince McMahon legitmately screwed her out of the Women's Championship in 1986 (Think Bret Hart at Montreal) and Wendi hasn't been seen on WWE TV and thus has not been mentioned at all to younger viewers, until now. Vince screwed Wendi (as he would Bret 11 years later), buried her legacy and now she's merely an answer to a trivia question instead of the legend that she should be. Why exactly did Vince screw her anyways?

I haven't seen Test do the elbow in years. But really- will Dreamer ever get a win in the new ECW? -
I thought that was Carlito for a minute.

The problem with the STFU is that Cena doesn't crank back on it. He hooks his hands, but you can SEE the open space.

You know, they USED to wait a long time untill they released the DVD (or VHS) of a movie. Somethimes even asfter it was released to video rental stores. I remember waiting close to a year before I could buy Star Trek: First Contact. Now a days, though, it seems the DVD is released 6 months after the movie. I saw Goblet of Fire in November, and in March I got the DVD. Same with V for Vendetta- the DVD come out next month,a dn I feel like I just saw it in the IMAX. Some times a movie comes out that your interested in seeing, ut hten you figure you'll spend over $20 at a theater, so why not wait untill it's out at Blockbuster and save a few bucks if you only have to wait a few more months? Of course, Hollywood is starting to find ways to make money off of the quick turnaround. They release the barebones DVD, then release a 'Special Collectors Edition' with the bonus disk that has ALWAYS been included for free for $5-$10 more (Chronicals of Narnia, Batman Begins, Goblet of Fire). Then a few months later they release the uber-special directors cut for about $30 (Underworld, X-Men 1.5 comes to mind). As for downloading, as a rule I try not to download any movie I don't plan on buying later on. I did that with Episode 3 and Serenity.
