My main problem with the commentary is the lack of actors. Seriously, in the OT dvd's, you got Carrie Fisher (who could be hillarious), but that was it. How hard would it have been to get Christiansen, or McGregor, or McDirimd? -
If anybody wants to see a really good documentary about what happened at the Olympics, find 'One Day In September.' The dvd is easy to find on Ebay cheap, and the book is an excellent read.

I see what you're getting at...in fact, go back and watch Episode 2 again and you can ALREADY see exactly what you're talking about! example: look at how crappy the CGI apple looked that Anakin floated over to pad-uh-may and watch as she eats it... example: how wooden and goofy and stiff the Clonetroopers all looked... oh and I also stand by the fact that, while Palpatine was stronger, Mace was able to best him at that very moment and was a slice away from ending it all...I mean, Vader was always better than Luke, but Luke was some how able to get it done... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One of the reasons the Clonetropers didn't look that good in Ep. 2 was because they had the art guys in the notion capture suits, acting like slodiers, and it didn't come across that well. As far as the graphics- yes, you can see a noticeable difference in some of the graphics between Pe 2 adn 3 (clonetroopers, Yoda, to a lesser extent). What amazed me was the sheer amount of sets that were CG'd in- the opera house, Palpatine's office... heaal, all they had there was a few chairs, the rest was CG'd. It makes you wonder if it was cheaper to computer design the set that it is to build it. -
Worked in Lethal Weapon 2.

On WWE.Com's Unlimited thing on the PPV, Foley was asked what he thought of the match and he said: "It went from utter joy to utter panic pretty quickly when I realized that I was quite a bit heavier and less prepared than for the Randy Orton match at Backlash 2004." Some people backstage said Foley was very disappointed with his performance and some accounts say he actually apologized to Carlito for the match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Got to give the man props for that- it takes a man of character to not only admit he wasn't up to snuff, but to also apologize to his opponet as well.

It's official- Palpatine was faking it, he did the whole thing to get Anakin to turn. This is from the commentary itself. -

The Walmart I went to only had it bundled with the Fullscreen version, so I passed on it. It looks like some kind of documentary-type deal, following Luke's story from Eps 4-6, and Anakins story from Eps 1-3. -

Anybody know what's going to be on the bonus disk from Walmart? -
Ok I'm guessing that Fox never watched the series because Miami Vice was for the most part about Sonny Crockett. So, of course, Crockett is going to have the most screen time and thus the actor who pays him will get this most money. Cause I remember there was reports that Fox wanted more screen time too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well yeah, but come on. Will Ferrell. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> COLLIN Ferrell, not Will. Dear good, could you imagine the abortion of a movie it would absolutely be with WILL FERRELL? *shudders*
-
Why the fuck did they budget MIAMI VICE at $180 million? What the hell is in this movie that warrants that kind of budget?

I actually read this book after PoA came out because I didn't want to wait to see what happened next. Then I read the fifth one, then the second, then the thrid (I read the first before the first movie came out). That being said, I am eagerly anticipating both this one, and Half-Blood Prince (the movie adaption) to see how they handle certain things.
-
On the one hand, they would've fit in way more of the storyline. On the other hand, you're making kids sit through a two and a half hour movie, then telling them to wait a month or two so that they can see how it ends. (Unless they've read it, in which case they'll be complaining about wanting to see it end anyway.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've heard the same thing about Order of the Phoenix, and I'm affraid they'll have to. There's only so much you can cut out, and I can't see them cutting enough out to make a 2 1/2 hour movie.

Mugglenet.com has several clips from the movie up now, including part of Moody's DADA class and the Malfoy-Ferret incident. Incidently, does anybodu think that, while the books push heavily for Ron/Hermione relationship, the movies push for a heavy Harry/Hermione pairing? Just view teh clip "I'm scared for you" to see my point.

Probably because he's been made to look like a punk all night. Hell, I like Mick, and even I'm apathectic about him tonight.

CARLITO HAS A FINISHER! CARLITO HAS A FINISHER!

I voted for Dude Love for Mick's match. Now THAT would be cool.
