So I get home from work, eager to see what Raw has in stor, and what is the FIRST THING I see? Fucking DIVCA SEARCH. This is what turned me off of wrestling last time. Fucking crap...

I've seen a couple of commercials for The Honeymooners...and I wasn't impressed. And what the fuck is High Tension supposed to be about?

And do you like movies with Gladiators?

Dude- it's FOX. What did you expect? All I can hope for is that Ratner makes this into a great movie, despite our now-low expectations. I can only hope that this turns out like Electra- really bad previews, but th actual movie was actually decent. (Though most of you won't agree with me on that...)

I'll give you that- apparently, Lee said that Dooku would never beg for his life, and asked that his line begging Palpatine for mercy be cut. I actually like that better, becauser it shows you just how devoted he was to his convictions.

Note of interest- in the novelization, Padme is talked into signing a petition demanding that Palpatine give up his emergency powers and return control of the Republic to the Senate. This petition is signed by 2000 senators (except for Bail Organa, for reasons that elude me) and presented to the Chancelor. Shortly after (or right before) he names himself Emperor, we learn that most of the signees have been arrested or have dissapeared, and that Padme is only safe because she's with Anakin. PAdme talks Bail out of signing the bill, and tells him to fight for justice inside the system. Another note of interst- while reading the 'Making Of' book for Ep 3, you can really se how little everybody likes Jar Jar. From the producers asking (hopefully) if Jar Jar gets a death scene, to Lucas joking that Jar Jar was reassigned to Alderann (which was later blown up), it becomes clear that EVERYBODY hates him.

I believe that FDR was looking for a way to get into the war. And I believe that he knew an attack was immenent, but did little to prevent it. In his mind, he probably saw any losses as necessary for the greater good.

That wasn't taking it like a man, that was him being shocked by the realization that Palpatine had been playing him all along to get to Anakin, and that he was ultimately expendable. Those scene's were shot, and will most likely be on the DVD. And I don't think Obi-wan would kill Anakin, because it is against the Jedi code to kill an unarmed (no pun intended), defenslis person like Anakin was at the end of the duel. To do so would be to give into his anger.

I actually just bought the movie for like 5.50 at Walmart. I've never seen it, haven't heard ANYTHING good about it, but I just had to get it at that price. Dames <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It has it's momnts- mostly with Paul Reuben, who has the longest death scene in movie history for a vampire, me thinks. As I said in the Angel folder, I had all of the seasons on DVD, but had to sell my Angel seasons a short time befroe season 5 came out. Since then, I've gotten Season 3,4,and 5 of Angel, 1-7 of Buffy, and Firefly.

Now THIS is an invasion.
