For those that are interested, I just found out that Charisma Carpenter will be on NBC's LAX this season, playing Heather Locklears cousin, or sister or something like that. MAn, i can't wait for that DVD set. And only a few more weeks till Buffy season 7 (and I'm hoping they put all of the deleted scenes back into Chosen).

I hate horror movies (hate being scared in general) but I was entertained by watching this. Loved the commentary by the various actors and Hollywood crew members.

I believe that there were elevators that worked like that back in the 50's, though I'm not sure if hotels had stopped having the 'elevator driver' by then or not. Wolfram and Hart had numerous photos of Angel, as did the Government, I think (did the early Initiative have photos of him in S5?). Hell, W&H also had surveliance videos of him. As for the smoking, Spike did it all of the time. IT's just one of those wierd corners that Joss backed himself into when he had Angel say "I have no breath." to Xander in 'Prophecy Girl.' But I agree with what everyone has said- this was an excellent episode with a great story that just sucks you in. And Rudo, I never realised hom much foreshadowing was in the early eps untill you pointed it out.

So I developed a passing interest in Farscape after the excellent series finale (note: that was sarcasm. For those of you that don't remember, the show ended after the two lead characters got engaged, then blown up.) Now they have been airing the entire series from start to finish over the last week leading up to the new Farscape mini-series this Sunday. So, any fans out there that will be watching? Or will anybody else give it a chance? And on a related note, what did all of you think of the show itself?

Not Fade Away was just on... man, that ep gives me goosebumps at the end, even still. And why is it that Joss likes to kill off my favorite characters in the series enders? First Spike, then Wesley... he probaly would have Killed off Mal on Firefly, had he had the chance.

Well, I just read on Buffy.nu that Eliza confirmed that Tru Calling has been canceled. Wether or not we see the six eps they had filmed for season 2 now probably depends on how good the DVD sales for season 1 are. But fear not! Method and Red is probabky still on...

Probably cause "Princess Bride" typecast him, but I agree that he should have become a bigger star. The movie looks interesting, but I doubt I'll see it. Maybe once it comes out on DVD, but definately not in theaters.

Amen to that, brother. So, am I the only one here that has every season of each show that's been released so far?

You're welcome. Not sure why, but your welcome. Just got the first tow eps on DVD today- maybe eventually I'll get whole seasons, but for now I think I'll just get odd DVD's and see how I like it. the mini-series rocked, though.

Holy shit. That death was unexpected. Great ending for the show, though I had thought that there would be more mini-series after this one. However, this did such a good job tying everything up, I don't know where they could go from here.

That's what I meant. If it had been like Angel, where at least they had some more warning, they could have ended it a bit diferently so that, even if it was a cliffhanger, it wouldn't have left you hanging SO much.

I took a criminology class once that was taught by a former memeber of the LAPD, adn he once told us that in a situation where it's a cop versus a guy with a gun, if the otehr guy even starts to bring his gun up towards the officer, they are allowed to shoot first. Stupid sumbitch shouldn't have had a gun in the first place, and he SURE as hell shouldn't have pointed it near a cop.

Got pulled over once for doing the stupidist thing- I sped around a guy who would not turn off his fucking blinker, and as soon as I pass the fucker I see the cop at the top of the hill. So what do I do? I hit the breaks. And get a ticket. Moral of the story- if you do speed past a cop, never hit the breaks unless they pull you over. Of course, the first time I was pulled over was the best- I was taking home two girls from an all-nighter working with my theater group at school. It was 2:30 in the morning, both of the girls are 15, I was 17 and driving in my old '72 Skylark. So a cop pulls me over, and gives me the bullshit line that my plates weren't registered. Then tells me that I'm out past curfew. Both which struck me as funny, as I thought you registered your plates when you put the little sticker on it each year, and I was old enough that the curfew, which I didn't even know existed, didn't apply to me. I explain what was going on to the cop, and he lets me go with a warning. What a nice guy.

I got the barebones Shawshank from Slackers, then came home and was surfing on-line, and found out about the Special Editon that would be released in a few months. Man, I was pissed about that.

Anya, you need help. You have an addiction, but fear not! We are all here for you! As for what you said earlier, the Ubervamps couldn't be staked just because Anya talked to her contacts. She was told they could be staked, but it was difficult due to the bone surrounding the heart, which acted like armor plating. Buffy probably couldn't stake it the first time due to the fact that she was exhausted.

Here's a question for everybody- what is George Lucas's greatest contribution to film? The Star Wars Trilogy, or the advancement in movie-making techniques that he spearheaded? And would those inovations come about without Star Wars?

Well, he DOES have to go and shoot a movie.... but why Booker couldn't beat him at the PPV and then loos to CCC, I don't know.

Sweet. But too bad about changing the premier date- it would have been on my birthday (when I'd be sure I could watch it). But at least I'll be able to get season 1 on DVD and catch up first.

Ok, so I never got to see Season 1 of Tru Calling, mainly because I went from school to work on the day it was on. I might catch a few minutes in the TDR, but I never saw enough to get into it. Personally, I was just going to wait for Season 1 to come out on DVD (hopefully before season 2 started) and catch up. Now I hear Fox either cut, canceled, or shut down production of Tru Calling, and that only 6 of the 13 ordered episodes had been filmed. So what I wanted to ask is does anybody know what's going on with this show, because quite frankly I'd like to get into it.
