Anyone know if Savage really intended to retire here, or was it always in the cards for him to come back? I know the feud with Jake was booked at the last minute after Warrior bolted. But he probably would have come back eventually. Jaques Rougeau had a retirement show in 1994. Nash lost a retirement match to Hogan at the last Road Wild.

It's bad enough to be swept by the lowly Oaks, but each loss by only 1 run makes it worse. And now I go up against the Ice Hoes. I only have 2 decent starting pitchers and they both lost since my hitters did nothing. Mike Witt, who will most likely start the first game today, has been pretty awful with the exception of his last start which he somehow pitched a shutout (which considering the Bibles only scored 1 run, was timed perfectly). Danny Darwin is even worse, and if he has another bad game, he'll probably get kicked to the curb like Danny Jackson and Ed Lynch before him.

James Cromwell George H. W. Bush (since the first Bush president STILL is not George Bush Sr.) I don't see it. Passing resemblance if any. Cromwell was one of those who went whining with Martin Sheen when the Afghanistan invasion broke out, so I'm sure he's going to give a VERY evenhanded performance as the former President. They should get Dana Carvey. He could use the work.

How about an animated wrestling show? I know there was Celebrity Deathmatch, but this would use fictional characters. There would be more detailed storylines than regular wrestling and no unexpected injuries/arrests/failed drug tests/ego clashes/deaths to screw them up.

A real shame. They could have a lucrative career sucking each other's cocks on screen, but they're just throwing it all away.
