One thing I liked about the new class was that they used real teen actresses. Most of them joined the cast at the age of 14. Sarah Lancaster was 13 when she first appeared. So during season 2, you had Rachel ( played by a 14 year old) dating Bryan (played by a 22 year old), while Screech ( played by a 17 year old) was the principal's assistant.
