If by in-ring ability you mean no in-ring ability aside from dropkicks and shitty punches, then yes, they have lots of in-ring ability. To be fair, Orton used to have a pretty nice wheelbarrow suplex. He never uses it anymore, though. I agree that it was nice.

The thing that pisses me off though, is that even if the 11/1 incident was a work, Teddy is still a HUGE asshole. He punches fans (or at least one) and his answering machine goes: "Yo!
