Well Mr. Optimist, I believe they were building up Batista for his match vs. HBK. -

Nah fighting X-pac for 3 months was bad Or fighting Kane over spilled coffee Or scooping up dog shit At least Pac was an over heel and um they DID have a fucking **** match. When did Y2J/Pac hit ****? Their first match (Jericho's first on WWE PPV) at Unforgiven 99 was ****. Wow. You guys are WAY more generous than me, and I liked the Brock/Angle ironman. I'd put their Unforgiven 99 match at ***1/4, tops. -

If everyone who hated it didn't watch, only you and CM Funk would be left. -
I was watching that tape yesterday, and I thought the main event 6 man (Taka/Kaz/Naniwa vs Sasuke/Shinkazi/Togo) was an excellent match, around the ****1/4-****1/2 range. That is one of my only two M-Pro tapes (I also have Return of Mutoh) and I want to know-are M-Pro shows usually that good? And am I way overrating the match?

They can have Saddam in their corner.

I see your point, Anglesault, and I definitely agree the sharp drop happened right as soon as the Chavo dealy started, but I still think it BEGAN with the Big Show feud.
-
yeah, too bad...his nose would make a perfect target for any potential snipers... snipers? you'll need a fuckign cannon to take his nose off... Anyway, I feel bad for all the unfortunate guys who are having their Christmas taken away by this PR trash. It's not live.

The Big Show feud didn't hurt Eddy. The shit was stupid, but it didn't kill heat and it got the belt off eddy without making him look bad. This Eddy mess falls firmly on the shoulders of the Chavo feud. I disagree. The Big Show feud was so stupid and it totally killed Eddy's momentum. The Chavo feud does suck, but Eddy was already losing momentum during the Show feud.

Numbers that end with zero>Any card whatsoever. It's been scientifically proved, don'tchaknow.

Yep, that's the tape I've got.

It was such a bad year, this stood out. That's the only reason I can think of.
-
They should have capitalized by pushing him to the moon post-SummerSlam, US title or not. The Big Show mess ruined any chance of him riding the huge wave to super-success. He can still do it, but it'll be way harder.
-
He's Canadian, that's more than enough for him to be considered a great wrestler. Anti-smarks suck. Shut up.

Yeah, maybe that's the problem with wrestling fans. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Not just wrestling fans...
