Mickie and Maria are totally hot, but I'd go with Melina over them any day of the week now that Trish is gone. Victoria is up there, too. It's just that she appeals to me in different ways than the other Divas. She's mantained herself better than others like, say, Torrie Wilson. And no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with her face.

at 36, that woman is STILL fantastic looking! Those are great pics. Victoria should do Playboy. Playboy? no, she should do porn movies! I didn't wanna go that far, but yes, she should. Softcore at the very least.

Great, man. Keep those statistics coming.

Agreed. Gonzalez was just hitting each forehand shot with everything he had, but Federer just kept aiming at the angles with great topspin shots, both forehand and backhand. Roger also commanded the net and if I'm not mistaken Gonzalez only managed to make two passing shots all match. Federer made all the passing shots he wanted. Also agree with Leena that, unless something really terrible happens, Roger Federer should set the new all-time record for Grand Slam Titles next year. Then it's off to surpass Sampras record mark on Wimbledon and he could easily retire as the greatest player ever without question. Congrats to Roger. You, sir, are from out of this world.

I've set my alarm clock for the Federer match. Hopefully I'm back home in time since I'm planning on partying tonight. Come on, Roger, make me proud and whip that Sampras-wannabe's ass.

I managed to catch a replay of Federer vs Roddick and let me tell you, it sometimes felt as if Roger was just toying with Roddick. Other than that game on the first set where Roddick broke Federer's serve because of 4 unforced errors for Roger, the rest of the match was just Federer doing whatever he wanted. And now as expected, the finals will be Roger vs Gonzalez. Like Leena and I have stated before, Federer is undefeated against Gonzalez but he can't be too overconfident here as Gonzalez is in a pretty hot streak right now and could post a lot of trouble for Roger if he keeps hitting those great first serves and those killer forehands. My prediction is still Federer but it could be a tough one and I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm a bit worried this time.

Gonzalez is 0-9 against Federer. He's only won two sets in all those games. Nevertheless, it could be a close one for Roger.

I voted for Michaels. I believe he should win and is my official prediction for this sunday.
-
Completely agree on this. It was a truly unique ending with a high level of suspense with Michaels outsmarting the Bulldog. And it was the first time that both the #1 and #2 entrants lasted as the final 2 (last year Triple H was in the last 3.)

You're correct. It's still not listed in the matches sub-section but it is on the main page.

WWE.com is not listing the Hardys vs MNM match for the Rumble as it was reported. Is the match happening or not, or are they waiting for it to be annouced on SD! this friday to make it official?

The already mentioned Seinfeld "backwards episode" is a favorite, as well as the "Hush" episode of Buffy. Not a big fan of the "Musical" episode, though. This was also mentioned before, but the "Triangle" episode of The X-Files is another favorite of mine.

Less than 1:25 to be exact. This was another Federer match that I had to miss and boy, am I sorry I did. To watch him crush Roddick like that would've been a great hour and a half of my time. I only watched the first set for Sharapova vs Kimmie, so did Kim quit due to injury or what?

All you guys are totally justifyed in mentioning 92 as the greatest Rumble match ever, but where's the love for the 2004 Rumble match? Pretty close to the 92 match IMO, with great performances all around, specially Benoit who was the eventual winner, building for his great year when nobody believed it possible. Even Big Show's outing was totally fun in the final stretches when everybody tries to eliminate him. If the 92 Rumble is tops then 2004 is firmly in second place for me. Another one that seems to be forgotten is 2001. Great action, a hardcore portion even, terrific performances by Kane specially (eliminating 11 men no less) and The Rock also. Another one of my favorites.

I have to give credit to both Serena and Peer, they put quite an emotional game where you didn't really know who was gonna come out on top. I don't usually enjoy women's matches but this was different. Props to Serena, who despite her being totally out of shape, managed to reach another semi, and if things continue like this she'll make it to the finals no doubt. Roddick totally overwhelmed that Fish dude. I mean, Fish didn't stand a chance he played so bad, it was really frustrating. I couldn't believe a guy who amazed so many by beeing unseeded and reaching the quarters could play this terribly. Roddick better be prepared for Federer now, it won't be a cakewalk like Fish was. Too bad I didn't see Roger's match vs Robredo, it's the first Federer match I miss on this tourny but it played so late. Like Leena said, no fucking way Roddick gets past Federer. If by any chance that happens then I won't bother watching the finals this year.

Greatest WWF Matches of the 90's Poll/Tourney
pochorenella replied to AboveAverage484's topic in General Wrestling
That spot always brings a smile to my face. Just terrific acting on HBK's part. The match was total chaos, which I believe only adds to the greatness, non-finish and all. It was on the next night's RAW. I think both matches are fairly even, but Sasuke does bust out that Space Flying Tiger Drop thingie, which I believe was only previously done once by Hakushi on WWF TV, correct me if I'm wrong. As for my nominees (is 10 the limit?), they're the usual suspects, plus a couple that haven't been mentioned: HBK vs Undertaker HIAC, Bad Blodd97 HBK vs Razor, WMX Bret vs Owen, WMX Austin vs Bret, WM13 Austin vs Bret, SSeries96 HBK vs Mankind, Mind Games Savage vs Warrior, WMVII Bret vs Bulldog, SSlam92 HBK/Austin vs Owen/Bulldog, RAW97 Bret vs HBK Ironman, WMXII -
WON News + Notes, January 22nd Issue

There's no star rating for Sting vs Abyss vs Christian. Thanks for the post. -
I hate Gonzales with a passion, ever since those chilean commentators started dubbing him as the "Chilean Sampras" or something like that, so I root against him whenever I can, damn that "he's from Latin America so I have to support him" crap. So even though I don't like Blake all that much I was hoping he would eliminate Gonzales, but then Blake started showing those ups and downs he's so common with, and after he wasted the break he got on the second set I just gave up on him. Nadal, Davydenko, Haas, anybody, please, I beg of you, don't let that idiot get to the finals.

Safin vs Roddick was playing too late for me so I skipped it. From the results in looks like it was a terrific match with Roddick picking up the W in four sets. All I've managed to watch completely this week are the three Federer victories so far, each one pretty easy matches for him, although Youhzny (sp?) played at a great, fast pace and worried me a bit on the third set after he got his break back and after saving three consecutive match points.

Shawn Michaels remains the Undisputed King of the MOTY at PWI.

I haven't seen enough movies this year for a full list, so I'll just do a Top 7: The Departed Casino Royale Miami Vice Clerks 2 V for Vendetta Lucky # Slevin Inside Man

Ditto. I was laughing so hard in the dinner scene in Nutty Professor that I thought I was about to die.
-
I would've never believed I'd also hear that statement, until I finally did. It's truly beyond me how could any man actually say that Trish looked like a dude. You're probably right about most of them being gay. And Nattie looks fine. I think this is a great opportunity for her.

If it were up to me I'd book a ladder match between London and Kendrik vs Hardys vs TWGTT vs MNM for Mania with any/all tag Titles on the line. that'd be a fun match...would you do that rather than a Money in the Bank match? Without question. Although both MITB matches have been quite fun, two ladder matches on the same PPV is too much. Maybe they could book it for another show and take advantage of the gimmick.
