Stacy Keibler suffers seizure: rushed to NYC Hospital

I've been interested on this series ever since they did an interview on Wizard magazine with the rapper that's playing Blade. I liked all three movies a lot (Trinity not that much) so I'm willing to give this a chance.

Red and Kitty decided not to go to Florida, Hyde briefly gave up pot, Randy was on for about 5 minutes total to try to get Donna back, Fez and Jackie got together, Kelso fell off the water tower and still as the BB imbedded in his flesh, Foreman came back at the end for Donna makeouts, ended with the New Years countdown into 1980 Thanks, Ravembomb. I also hated that Randy dude, so I'm glad they brought Eric back and put him together with Donna again. It would've been stupid not to do it. Incidentally, Eric is the only one from the gang that didn't get any with Jackie when it was all said and done. Is she a slut or what?

I missed the show. Somebody please recap?

Frickin' double post.

Here's Dean Malenko talking about the Spirit Squad. Taken from WWE.com so make of it what you will: http://www.wwe.com/inside/agentconfidential/051806_malenko

Here is the cover art for the new Limited Edition DVDs coming on September 12th. I think they're a nice throwback to the movie posters from that era. And in another maybe-not-so-good news, it's being reported that the original movies won't be available on anamorphic widescreen. Anybody can confirm this? Note to Mod: Shouldn't this thread be merged with the OAO Star Wars geekeness thread?

It was the Truth Commission, actually.

Might as well post the more detailed spoilers from PWInsider.com. nokia, I think it might be a good idea if you edited your first post so nobody gets confused with the fake spoilers. This one is a more favorable report, and actually makes me a bit more interested for the Judgment Day PPV. Looks like Benoit IS mentoring Brent "Gunner Scott" Albright after all, and that can only mean good stuff from these guys. I'm more convinced than ever that Rey retains on Sunday.

The Worst Wrestling Show of All-Time

Thanks for the details, cabbageboy. Although I feel a bit dumber myself after reading that. -
Could one of you guys catch me up on the Marvel Universe?
pochorenella replied to haws bah gawd's topic in Literature
I was under the impression that Franklin Richards powers were taken-away when Reed Richards used the Ultimate Nullifier to kill the guy that killed Galactus? You got me right there, man. I didn't read that mini-series where Galactus died so I wouldn't know. Although he's recently come back and even took the Human Torch as a Herald for a short while IIRC. And Mr. Fantastic used the Ultimate Nullifier and wasn't killed himself? I thought whomever used it would also be destroyed. Anyways, I seem to be out from the loop myself regarding Franklin Richards' power status. -

I'll try and aswer what I can, hopefully it'll help: 1.The Spidey armor was more of a result of "The Other" storyline where he faced Morlun and somehow evolved some new powers. He may have died and be reborn with them or something, I haven't read the whole story so I'm not quite sure. 4. Regarding the most powerful weapon in the Marvel Universe, with no Infinity Gauntlet I'd assume then that it is the Cosmic Cube. The Ultimate Nullifier really just blows up the Universe or something, a weapon of galaxy-wide destruction, while the Cube is more in line with the Gauntlet powers. 5. While the Scarlet Witch certainly displayed some huge-ass reality-altering abilities during Avengers Dissasembled and House of M, let's not forget this little boy called Franklin Richards. The offspring of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Women created a fricking pocket Universe, for God's sake. If he's not the most powerful mutant right now, then he certainly will be soon. 6. Last time I saw the Scorpion donning the Venom symbiote was in the first MK Spider-Man storyarc, where Eddie Brock does indeed try to kill himself by slashing his wrists. Although they didn't say if he died or not, Peter did imply that when they found him doctors said he wouldn't last the night. He also had a malignant brain tumor, and the symbiote was the only thing that was keeping it in check. He auctioned his Venom suit to the highest bidder, thus assuring his future death. The symbiote went to some gangster's son who died afterwards, and then somehow ended up with Gargan. I don't think he uses the Scorpion suit underneath, although I haven't read any other Venom/Scorpion stories after this one. -
That's a cool looking poster right there. I kinda get an Alex Ross vibe with that pose. Anybody agree?

JLU Season 3 starts September 17th

You mean when that Ice girl transformed herself in the same way Iceman used to in the cartoon? Fire probably did something similar to Firestar also but I don't quite remember. I thought it was weird she turned into Fire while in the pool, though. -
Don't forget Vince doing the swimming motion in the ring as Austin was spraying him with beer. That one had me on stitches, and I still laugh every time I see it again.

I haven't seen them all, but the ones with Broly are very good (haven't seen Bio-Broly yet), the first one with Cooler I also liked, and The Tree of Might I have fond memories of since it's the first DBZ movie I ever saw.

Got it. My apologies then, Vampiro69. -
Taskmaster vs Deathstroke is really a close one. I guess with his photographic reflexes Taskmaster could gain the upper hand. Thing is I've never seen him used to his full potential on any story so it's hard to guess. Deathstroke is at near Batman levels, according to DC, so it's a tough call. I'll say Taskmaster in a photo finish, just 'cause I'm more of a Marvel guy. Namor vs Wonder Woman is easier to predict, I guess. Given that it turns out WW is almost as fast as the Flash and as strong as Superman this should be not too difficult for her. Namor could eat Aquaman for breakfast, but not WW. I guess he would try to use his royal charms first, given that she's royalty just like him, but it would be to no avail. Unless the fight's on water (which I guess it isn't) I give it to WW.

I agree it's a solid-looking PPV show. The good could be really good, but the bad, oh man, could be atrocious (I'm looking at YOU, Great Khali.) Hopefully Kurt is good enough to go with Henry, so that he "permanently injures" him and we never have to see Henry even near the mid-card, let alone the main event. I'm looking for a Tag Title change where both teams are allowed to go all out, a good and successful Cruiserweight defense on the part of Helms, and Rey Misterio FINALLY having a successful World Title defense against all odds.

I thought it was pretty clearly explained when Supes asked Luthor about it. The rogues where drifting in space inside Sinestro's energy bubble until Lightray (from the New Gods) appeared to help them and they apparently stole his Mother Box and returned to Earth. Totally agreed that it needed a one hour series finale. While extremely cool, the final battle still felt somewhat rushed. Deus ex machina? You could say that, but everyone that knows his DC history (New Gods in particular) are aware that Darkseid's lifelong search has been to solve the riddle of the Anti-life Equation, so it goes to figure he'll take it if offered on a silver platter. -
The Worst Wrestling Show of All-Time

"Nash and Steiner are going to have to improvise a new finish!" I remember this. Goldberg gets killed with the Jack Knife, then stands up, looks at Nash funny, and walks out of the ring. All the while, Shiavonne was trying to put over what class-acts Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash were because they were going to 'stay with the script' but improv a new finish. Thats gold. I'm beggin' any of you guys to please explain this debacle in more detail. -

I have fond memories of the Spidey 60's cartoon, but I liked the 90's series better. That could be just me, though. -
Do you mean actors or viewers? I have the same problem with this show that I had with X-Files. Unless its an episode about the series' overall mythology, I have a hard time caring about anything that happens. There were several non-mythological episodes from the X-Files that are awesome, like "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" or "Home". You should give them another try, you won't be disappointed.

Or rather potentially how good they can be. Moore gave most of those villains on that story a mean streak, an edge so to speak that they lacked in all their previous showings. I think it was Lois or Supes himself that said that before that fateful day all of them were nothing more than nuisances. That's exactly what most of Superman's rouge gallery really are.

Is that Baron Cena Von Rashke??
