Didn't Shelton say "Love you too" or something to that effect to the person at the other side of the line? It could be seen as odd if he said something like that to RVD or Charlie Haas.
-
It's also named as such on a couple of the SD! games for PS2. Does that count?

Interesting stuff, cawthon. Great post.

I seem to remember he also talked about his grampa being a drunk, but mostly he berated his father. But didn't he do the same thing on Beyond The Mat? Are those reasons enough for a lawsuit? It seems that you can pretty much sue anybody for whatever shit you can imagine nowadays.

Lucky, Im Jealous, I guess I should hit up some flea markets and small mom and pop shops first. There's a used video/music store chain in my area called "Vintage Stock" that sells it for $30. What's the big deal about x-7? Was it the last WWF Wrestlemania? no x-8 was, X-7 is considered by many to be one of the greatest manias of all time, the original dvd is out of print due to the wwf logo and name. So to find a copy would be a rare thing. For those that have the original DVD, did WWE/F edit-out "My Way" (I know this is edited out in the Wrestlemania boxset)? They did not. All the music remains intact. In fact, "My Way" is the main theme for the whole DVD. I think the only edit is when Eddie slipped either on the ramo or the apron (my memory is fuzzy, but I saw this live so it happened.)

One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread

If ROTS would've had an IMAX release (like AOTC did) it would've broken $400 million for sure. -
Todd Grisham Calls Fan "Retard" On Byte This
pochorenella replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
I agree. I don't see the need to make a fuss about this. Good for Grisham, putting the caller in his place. -
Great to see the praise The Ultimates is getting. But I haven't read issue #9, which they elected Best Single Comic of 2005. Can someone spoil the traitor for me, please?

What, does she show some skin or something? If so I'm there.

I have the Wrestlemania Anthology Collection
pochorenella replied to JN News's topic in The WWE Folder
They don't edit the worse WM. Maybe they think everyone will skip over it and no one will watch it. I certainly don't plan to. At least for the forseable future. -
If that's the same match I think it is then I might have to re-watch it because I didn't find anything special with it, other than the significance of the participants teaming up. Sid gives the wussiest chairshots I've ever seen.

Both taken from PWInsider.com: The first estimate for the Survivor Series buyrate is out and the show appears to be a bit down from the last year. With an early number of 375,000 buys, it trails last year's (about 400,000) and the 2003 (450,000) shows but is about 25,000 buys ahead of the 2002 show. Not bad, specially if you take into account that most buyrates rise somewhat significantly after initial estimates. This year's SSeries could wind up matching last year's. The Tribute to the Troops edition of Raw did a 3.7 cable rating, with a 5.7 share. The show did hours of 3.8 and 3.6. AM Raw from 12/17 did a 0.7 cable rating, with a 1.9 share. Not surprising for RAW. And AM RAW matched TNA Impact ratings for this week

Bloodsport: ECW's Most Extreme Matches
pochorenella replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
So is this set worth having? From the match listing I've seen only a couple of them (4-way TV Title and Taipei Death match from the POD DVD, Sabu vs RVD stretcher match, and Tanaka vs Awesome from ONS), so let's say I'm completely uneducated on the rest of them. Are they any good and/or memorable, or do they appeal mostly to the long-time ECW fan? -
1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
pochorenella replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
I remember the pre wm 17 edition with HHH and in it Conan said maybe he could do a run in at Mania, and HHH said he could pick him up and hit Undertaker with his Huge head instead of using the hammer. I think it was also that edition where Triple H said he once saw a guy in the audience with a sign that said "TRIPLE H IS THAT DAMN GOOD..." and then he turned it around and it said "...FOR ME TO POOP ON!" That was great. -
Thanks for the downloads, Alro. I'm still in the middle of the (corrected) 3-way match 'cause of my slow-as-snails connection. Hopefully I'll have it fully downloaded in a couple of days. Edit: The dowload has died on me twice now, and it's taking for-fucking-ever since the file is so huge. Seems I'm gonna miss out on these matches. Guess I'll have to get the monthly DVD or something. Thanks anyways.

Yeah, I was always a bigger fan of John, specially his work on Avengers and Fantastic Four. A big fave of mine was his work on Conan the Barbarian (I think he did the comic for the movie adaptation?) I liked Sal Buscema's work on Hulk and various Spider-Man titles. There was some work he did on Moon Knight with Bill Scienkewitz (sp?) that I thought was great. However, I found his latter work, specially on Spider-Man were he inked himself, to be seriously lacking. Anyhow, Sal is not my favorite of the Buscema brothers but he had good showings back in the day.

Wasn't he doing an appearence overseas to promote a SD! tour for next year?

In Dr. Strange's voice: "I call upon the Crimsom Bands of ...Zanarack?!?" ...And after casting that spell, Stephen Strange loses his mantle as Earth's Sorcerer Supreme.

Dude, not a bad translation but you lost me several times, specially at the end. If you like send me your original thoughts in english and I'll translate it for you.

What is the greatest martial arts fight in cinema history?
pochorenella replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in Television & Film
I can't believe there's no Bruce Lee love here. I nominate anything from Enter The Dragon or The Chinese Connection. Although all his movies have terrific stuff. -
Hey, anybody know the pre-sale password for Rumble tickets? The pre-sale was supposed to start today until tommorow. I'd appreciate any help, thanks in advance. Guess I'll answer myself. Pre-sale password for Royal Rumble 2005 tickets is RUMBLE for anybody interested (pre-sale ends tonight at 9pm) Got section 108, row 26, seat 20. Pretty good, although I was aiming for either sections 106 or 107 so I could be right in front of the camera.

Please tell me those spoilers are not actually true.
