    the WM run down

That's what I was thinking it's likely to happen. Hassan and Daivari cut a promo in the ring, then boom! "Real American" plays and Hogan does the hulking-up and stuff to fend off both guys to the delight of the crowd.

    More new DVD info

WM21 DVD is due in May, yes. You can check amazon.com or deepdiscountdvd.com for the exact date, as it's been listed there for weeks. It's only a 2-disc set BTW, not like last year's. EDIT: Checked it myself. May 10th is the release date. I have no info on the HOF2005, or if it's even gonna be released at all.

    Neither was "Wrestling with Shadows."

    Gorilla

That one is my favorite. Sorry I edited it a bit, Machismo. You missed: Holy Mackarel!

    Angle/HBK Feud

He did use that Tear-Drop Suplex in his RAW match vs HHH on December 2003. I don't quite remember him doing it again since, though. Angle Moonsault at WMania=MARKOUT

    Who Would Sell More Playboys?

I say hot. And I'd buy both women's pictorials in a second.
  8. I'll have to rewatch my tapes to find which Rockers/BBusters match you're referring to 'cause I can't recall that specific spot with Heenan. The 2/3 falls match sticks to my mind as the best of the series IIRC, but it'll be fun to rewatch them all again. Regarding the UK Rampage tape match vs Orient Express, I've never seen it and I'm mighty curious, but I find it difficult to believe it could be much better than the awesome Rumble 91 match. Didn't Shawn had a match in the UK with Savage in one of those World Tour tapes or something? It was pretty decent IMO. Not better than ONO but still good.

    Royal Rumble 2005 DVD

So Cena carried Batista during their "match"?

    Hogan/Warrior

I was at the cusp of my markdom during the whole Ultimate Challenge weeks. IMO there was no other wrestler who could hold a candle to the Warrior, so you understand I went completely nuts for him when he won. It's not a technical marvel by any means, but the electricity of the crowd really surrounds you and engulfs you thruout the match. It was a fine effort by two guys at the peak of their popularity (Hogan maybe less) and it was a total dream match for the fans. IIRC it was the first Coliseum Video I ever bought and I watched it numerous times. I still like it now, even if I've smartened up now. Now, regarding the HHH vs HBK SSlam match, I wonder if LooneyTune has seen the same match as I, because I remember the crowd going crazy for Shawn and the match, not sitting on their hands. And the heat HHH got after the sledgehammer to HBK's back was tremendous. It was a great match, it remains so. Maybe your well-known hatred towards Michaels is overwhelming you here.

WWE to Produce Montreal Screwjob DVD

That's a pretty good list. Basically all his best work, except that dredful Hogan match from WCW. I nearly barfed when I saw that one.

    SD! Spoilers

Are those two actually confirmed as such on SD! mag?

    Royal Rumble 2005 DVD

My guess is they didn't have enough space left on the disc since they also included the spanish commentary track as a bonus.

    John Cena vs. Orlando Jones

Even worse than Hogan vs Sid? Or Hogan vs Yokozuna?

    Royal Rumble 2005 DVD

The New Year's Revolution DVD also mentions an extra match on the box, but there isn't actually any. My RR2005 copy is in transit so I guess I'll check it soon. The West Side Story promo is there in full?

    top 5...

Just off the top of my head. If I remember other worthy matches I'll edit my list: 1) HHH vs Austin, NWO 2001 2) Flair vs Steamboat, NWA Clash of Champions 3) Jericho vs Benoit, SummerSlam 2000(?) 4) Rockers vs BrainBusters, SNME 1990(?) 5) Rey Misterio vs Juventud Guerrera, ECW Special mention to the Gringos Locos vs Octagon/Hijo del Santo match on Eddie's DVD. Malenko vs Eddie is mostly an exhibition match, so I don't like it THAT much.

    Top Five...

Pitbulls vs Raven/Stevie Richards is the only Dog Collar match I've ever seen. I liked it, though.

    Best Ever Velocity/Heat Matches

I second that one. Also any of the two Hurricane vs Stevie Richards matches where Hurricane got to hit the Vertebreaker.

    Top 5-10 favorite...

    1) Bret vs Owen, SummerSlam 94 2) Angle vs Benoit, RAW 2001 3) AMW vs XXX, TNA Turning Point 4) Blanchard vs Magnun, Starrcade 85 5) Samoa Joe vs Jay Briscoe, ROH 2003 Special mention goes to the overlooked Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels match (late 93, early 94) on some Coliseum Video. It was basically the template for the Bret/Owen match. EDIT: I just saw an awesome, bloody ROH cage match between Samoa Joe (ROH Champ) and Jay Briscoe. Recommended for those who haven't seen it, with crazy bumps and a gory bladejob by Briscoe, an easy 1.0 Muta. My new #5 choice.

    Trish Stratus

I'm with you, al ... these people have got to be joking when they say that they don't know who she is. She was attractive enough for the male fans (although she didn't do much for me), was grrrrrrl-power enough for the female fans, and thus got wicked over. Hell, they gave her the win that ended Moolah's decades-long reign for a reason. Plus, if nothing else, she played a HUGE role in the rock-n-wrestling scene that lifted wrestling out of smoky gyms and onto SI. Don't forget she was married to my fellow countryman, WWE spanish announcer Hugo Savinovich.

    Charlie Sheen/Denise Richards Split

How can he let go that fine pice of ass is beyond me.

    Most overrated/underrated writers & artists

I'll just go with pencillers right now. Overrated: Mike Turner. For the life of me, I just can't see what all the fuzz is all about. He draws nice women, granted, but so do many others and better, I might add. For his style I prefer Marc Silvestri any day of the week. Underrated: Carlos Pacheco. He just doesn't seem to get all the accolades he truly deserves. He's got that action/superhero style that just fits modern comics but with that powerful Jack Kirby-esque style also.

    Episode 3 Spoilers

I'm pretty sure other shows like Access Hollywood or ET should have the trailer around that time, if not sooner. That could be your alternative if you don't care to watch The O.C. And I'm still NOT reading those spoilers.

    The Complete Calvin & Hobbes

Is it too late to ask for a less-expensive, non-hardcover edition? I love Calvin & Hobbes and I have a few of their books, but as of this moment that price is a turn-off for me.
