I don't think it made Umaga look weak at all. It took three chairshots and a spear from Lashley to get the job done. And remember the Fed most always lines up big debuts after Mania, and IMO this was a terrific way to introduce a new guy and giving him an instant story. The crowd loved it, so I guess mission accomplished.

To nobody's surprise, Captain America #25 was the top selling book for the month of March, moving 290,514 units. That number should rise since the issue is still selling and I'm not sure if they're counting newer pressings already. The numbers are the best since Civil War #3 sold 335,655 copies. Civil War #1 has sold 361,516 so far, and #2 has moved 340,879. Edit: Updated the sales figures.

Here's the cover for the "Ladder Match" dvd to be released on June 5th, according to amazon.com. From the front I could make out a few names like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Rock, Rob Van Dam, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit. That should help to especulate on what matches to expect on this set. Since it's a 3-disc set then we can hope for a lot of great stuff. Maybe someone can get a clearer image and make out the other names I'm missing so we can especulate a little more?

Kurt Angle also pinned him cleanly on a tag match on RAW, if I remember correctly. Of course that was before Edge beat him for the Title.

It seems some people are complaining too much about this double-pin scenario and they're forgetting that it's something we've seen before. Back in December 2003 the HHH vs HBK World Title match on RAW ended the same way and GM Bischoff awarded the match to Trips. I don't remember that many people calling that ending stupid, retarded or anything like that, maybe because it was such an awesome match. Remember some refs tend to count the pin to people executing figure-fours or even or Rita Romero Specials (or mexican surfboards, whatever you wanna call it) and those are HARDLY pinning situations. Hell, former wrestler (now announcer) Hugo Savinovich lost his fricking hair on a situation like that. Stop trying to be so picky, guys.

I'll reserve judgment until I see what he accomplishes in WWE, but from what little I've seen of Colt Cabana in ROH I really don't see what the appeal is. Let's see if he shines on the Big Leagues.

According to an interview in newsarama.com, Hitch has already delivered all his finished pages and now coloring work is being done. It should be in stores in May.

Reviewer on 411mania already rated the Main Event at ****1/4 making it the best match on the card.

that Edge spear on Matt from the hook down to the mat was one of the greatest WWE spots I've ever seen...WM 17, right? I think it was on Jeff at Summerslam 00. No, wait, Jeff was on the ladder and Edge jumped off the top/another ladder, I think. Edge did the spear on Jeff at Mania X-7, but I think he had already done it at the first RAW on TNN in a ladder match pitting the Hardyz vs E&C. Still awesome, nonetheless.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by now, but all the negativity around here towards this year's Mania has me scratching my head. Cena vs HBK, with all the great build it's had, doesn't feel like a Mania-worthy match? Batista vs Undertaker, Title vs Streak, isn't a Mania-worthy money match? All the great workers in the MITB match, a proven crowd-preaser, with great potential for terrific angles, won't make a Mania-worthy match? All the work that's been done building Umaga vs Lashley with the Trump stuff bringing long-needed mainstream publicity and it isn't Mania-worthy?

I cannot fucking believe it. After Roger crushed Cañas on that second set I believed revenge was in order, but it was not to be. Cañas played amazingly good, and when Roger missed that volley on the tie-breaker to put Cañas 6-4 I feared the worst. The image of Federer missing that easy forehand for the match will haunt me forever.

Oh, come on. TNA wouldn't even be able to fill Orlando's TD Waterhouse, Orlando Centroplex, or whatever they're calling it now unless the admission was FREE, as it is for their TV tapings and PPV shows in Orlando. Orlando is far, FAR, from being "TNA country."

If I'd pay my bucks and go there, I'd watch the show rather than *oops* around. Of course, but there's always that Women's Title/Divas match where you can take advantage of a break, right?

hopefully it's to say he's never coming back. I really don't understand all the Foley hate that's been coming since a couple of years ago on this board. The guy makes really sporadic appearances, has great promos and segments, puts on great matches, puts everybody and their grandfather over, so what's not to love? Or are some people still crying as to how Foley SHOULD have stuck around ROH and make Joe the superstar he should've been by now? I just don't get it.

I haven't seen the new trailer attached to 300 but those 7 minutes are greatness. And people should remember that Sandman is not a villain in the complete sense of the word, he's more like a misunderstood freak that Spidey battles. Maybe once the misunderstandings between them are over then Spidey can focus on the Venom part of the story.
