Didn't he put himself in the way of a sniper shot that was aimed at the SWAT guy? If so then he stayed totally in character saving the life of another person and risking his own. Unless the shot was actually aimed at HIM, of course, I haven't read the issue yet.

That had better be a RUMORED match listing. It should be a 3-disk DVD chronicling all the Horsemen eras of the NWA/WCW. The Four Horsemen DVD is now officially a 2-disc set, so we can possibly expect a few more matches to be known in the next weeks.

Rating this week was a 4.1 according to 411mania.com, down from 4.3 last week. Should this be considered a disappointment? Considering the two matches announced beforehand and the Stonce Cold appearance, although non-advertised per se but teased nonetheless.

It may be the logical conclusion or payoff, but I can't help but feel sad, even with all the skepticism we all could have.

I'll put my 2 cents in for Top RAW matches, in no particular order (except the first choice): Owen/Bulldog vs Austin/Michaels, Tag Titles match (my favorite RAW match ever) Flair vs Perfect, Loser leaves RAW Angle vs Benoit (cage) Great Sasuke vs Taka Michinoku, rematch from Canadian Stampede Owen vs Bulldog, Euro Title finals Michaels vs Benoit, Showdown in the Desert Michaels vs Jannetty, IC Title match Austin/HHH vs Jericho/Benoit, Tag Titles match Triple H vs Michaels, World Title match Eddie vs RVD, IC Title ladder match EDIT: barron and CanadianChris made me realize that the Austin vs Benoit match I included wasn't on RAW so I placed Sasuke vs TAKA instead. SECOND EDIT: Dammit, I just remembered HBK vs Trips when they both had their shoulders pinned and Bisch gave the win to HHH. I had to bump another match, so sadly HBK vs Shelton is out but gets #11.

So RVD's jobbing to Orlando Jordan 2.0 again? Elijah Burke is a way better wrestler and character than Jordan. As for RVD jobbing, let's wait and see.

Should we discuss the Dubai finals here? Youzhny is in already after defeating Nadal in the QF and this Soderling dude just a few minutes ago in two rather comfortable sets. Federer is playing later on (I don't remember his opponent's name) but he's pretty much a lock for the finals too, not to mention a favorite for the Championship. Shame that I wanted a rematch of last year's final but with Nadal choking so much as of late it was not to be.

That sounds like a very possible and decent card, BorneAgain. I like it a lot.

I read another report where they didn't mention that the Hardy vs Mercury match was a MITB qualifier, but since there's more than one report wich says it was then I guess Matt is the sixth entrant. Weird that SD! already has four entrants, RAW has two and ECW only one. I was holding out some hope for RVD to win a second-chance match or something of that sort but I guess that Orton will be the final entrant, less he be left with nothing to do at Mania. RVD can still be place in a multi-man tag of ECW Originals vs New Breed at Mania. For all the flack Lashley gets there's no denying he's working extra hard to get over. He's been defending his Title every week and even last night he pulled double duty. That's commendable nowadays when you get some champs who wrestle only on PPVs once a month (TNA, I'm looking at you.)

I think that's a pertty decent match selection. Too bad it's a Silvervision exclusive.

Crap. There goes the match I've been wanting for Mania since December. No offense but why the f*** would you want a show to be booked with TWO multi-man ladder spotfests (and I realize you were probably hoping they would do that match in-lieu of a MITB match, but even after MITB was announced you wanted the TLC bout)? I thought it was stupid enough to announce a TLC the PPV before Mania (which they smartly corrected). No offense taken. Yes, I've wanted the TLC match since I saw the Armageddon ladder match (it was not a TLC, and the scrapped match at NWO wasn't a TLC either) so I was slightly disappointed when they confirmed MITB, and I realize it's not smart to book two gimmick matches with ladders on the same show (I said as much on another thread) but then again, I wanted that match, dammit! (I still do, I guess) It was a no-brainer, IMO.

I meant the TLC match with the tag teams, not Jeff vs Shelton one-on-one.

No Shelton, Jeff, or Matt on any MITB qualyfiers yet makes me still hold out hope for my proposed TLC with the Hardys, WGTT, MNM, and London/Kendrick.

Foley's already had a few dvds released, and next month they're re-releasing Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses as a 3-disc set with some extra matches on the new disc. IIRC they're Foley/Rock vs Evolution (WMXX), Foley vs Orton (Backlash 04), Foley vs Edge (WM22), and Foley vs Flair (SummerSlam 06)

Really tough choices, they're all terrific matches. Funny, three of these four matches are among the only four matches the Observer has given ***** (Bret vs Owen Cage match being the other.) As someone who's watched Raw from the very beginning, the Foley title win is the only moment from that list that belongs in the top 50. The rest of those were total throwaway moments. I was at Milk-o-mania live and it was a fun moment, but it didn't even get over that well with the crowd. It was just a cute ripoff of the beerbath. As for the rest on that list.... uggh. How you could possibly say the Invasion doesn't belong there? And I think the Kane/Lita wedding is definitely top 50 material. What part of the Invasion are you referring to? Were talking memorable moments and the start of the Invasion angle was probably the least inspiring beginning to a major angle ever. I don't even remember what happened. Are we talking Lance Storm's superkick to a mild pop? I'm pretty sure he's referring to the night when ECW appeared on RAW, later to merge with WCW on the same night.

I can't believe you neglected to mention Edge vs Eddie from SD! in 2002. It was a street fight if I'm not mistaken, finishing with an Impaler DDT from the top of a ladder. IMO the best singles match Edge's ever had. Out of your choices I'll go with Cena as best feud and TLC II as best match, even if TLC I was much better. You sure put some weird choices, man.

That's a somewhat misleading description. Cap and Iron Man are pretty much in a stalemate with each other. But anyway, you mean the original cover and not the Michael Turner one, got it.
