    Knight of the Zodiac!

"I Ran" is the theme song?? What happened to "Pegasus Fantasy"?

    Knight of the Zodiac!

I've never seen any DVD releases for Saint Seiya other than the new Hades saga which collects 3-4 episodes on each disc but they're not Region 1 anyway. The warriors are: Pegasus (Seiya) Swan Andromeda Dragon Phoenix (Andromeda's brother, who appears later in the series) Anybody seen the OVAs? The one vs. Lucifer is my favorite, and the most realistic depiction of the devil I've EVER seen.

    Knight of the Zodiac!

Is it one episode a week? It's got a long way to go then, and I don't want to spoil anything but be ready for some great fights. Hopefully CN won't butcher (edit) the fight scenes, since some are extremely bloody and violent. BTW, I downloaded the first 13 episodes of the new Saint Seiya Hades saga and they're kickass, too!

    Knight of the Zodiac!

I've followed the Saint Seiya series for quite a few years now but always in spanish dub (called "Caballeros del Zodiaco") or japanese with subtitles. It's one of my favorite anime series ever with terrific fights and great stories of friendship and honor. I think it's great that Cartoon Network is playing the show. I still haven't seen the english dub version but I'm looking forward to it. As far as Seiya's Pegasus armor being called "golden cloth" is a mistery to me. Seiya's armor (along with the other three main warriors) are "Bronze Armor", meaning they're below Silver and Gold (which is the highest honor). Seiya does get to use Golden Armor in the series (the Sagitarius one, If I'm not mistaken) but it happens later on.

Wm XX Pre- Sale ticket info

Come on, bob, don't be like that. Actually I was hoping somebody who's on Ticketmaster's mailing list would be kind enough to post the password for us unlucky people with damn turtle-like Modem Internet connection. Please? Pretty please?

    wwe vengence 2003

You're right. It seems like they only take about a month or so to be released. The SummerSlam DVD is set to be released on late September, according to Amazon.com

Well, mine shipped today from Amazon.com, so I guess I'll find out soon. But I'll be pissed if it has no extras.

    Unpredictable Main Events...

No Way Out 2000. Was Mick going to retire or fulfill his dream of going into WM as Champ? I realy had no idea what they were up to there.

    best skinemax movie

I saw that one, and God was it awful! I don't even think she showed any skin in this one. I believe she wore a tight leather suit or something, even when she pretended to have sex with the guy!
  10. WWE has announced that their September 13th RAW brand house show in Knoxville, TN will be headlined by a World Heavyweight Title match between Triple H and Chris Jericho. That seems to indicate that one of those two men will leave Summerslam as World Champion. At this point, the feeling backstage is that Triple H will likely retain the belt. The only other real candidate is Jericho, since Kevin Nash and Randy Orton aren't over enough to carry the belt, and Shawn Michaels and Goldberg don't work house shows (and WWE is really trying to increase house show busienss right now). The house show card also indicates that Mark Henry will be joining Teddy Long's stable and form a team with Rodney Mack. Credit: 1wrestling.com What do you guys think?

I have it, too. Recommended DVD, but too bad those extras kinda suck.

    best skinemax movie

Best Alyssa Milano movie ever. The lesbian scene I could watch over and over again. As far as skinemax movies go, anything with Shannon Tweed rules in my book. But I also like movies with Kim Dawson, Nikki Fritz and Lauren Hayes.

    Graphic Novels

That's not the one I have. Mine is just Spidey vs Goblin stories and I'm pretty sure it came out in the 90s. I haven't read Spider-Man: Blue either, but I might wait for the softcover version since it's only available as a hardcover.

    Best ROH shows?

Thanks to all who gave their input. I'll let you know my choices (if anybody cares) next week.

    Conan Tonight

Yeah, Andy took way too much time. I think that's what caused Mick's to be so damn short. But the Arnold interview ruled all.

    Graphic Novels

There most certainly is, but it came out a couple of years ago so I'm not sure if it's still available. There's also a Spidey vs Green Goblin TPB (which I have) that covers from Goblin's early appearances to Gwen's death to Harry's (Goblin II) death, but unfortunately I haven't seen this one either anywhere anymore. Both aren't listed on Marvel.com but you can try Ebay or something. As for other great Spidey TPBs, well there's a bunch of them! I already recommended Ultimate Spidey: Power and Responsibility, and there's almost the entire US-M run collected up to the "Venom" storyline, and all are highly recommended. Regardind current Spider-Man, I can't give enough praise to the Best of Spider-Man Hardcover vol. 1. It covers J.M. Stracyznky (sp?) first storyarc with new villain Morlun up to the Sep. 11 acclaimed issue, some Tangled Web stories and a kick-ass retelling of a Marvel Team Up with Spidey, DareDevil and the Punisher. Buy this one now! And finally, JMS's Amazing S-M run is collected in several (4?) TPBs up until AS-M #50 which is the nicely-done Peter/MJ reunion. Hope this helped.

What are the best wrestling DVDs...

Well, it has four ****+ matches, and two pretty good ones (the WM match is not that bad if you ignore all the previous biuld-up crap ), so yeah, I'd say it's worth it.

    Graphic Novels

Most of the latest Uncanny X-Men storyarcs have been strictly three-parters, and I recall a few one-parters on Amazing S-M (even though those were indeed collected on Spidey's latest TPB, which is a doozy IMO). But mostly I agree with you. TPBs are great to catch up if you missed several issues or stories, specially years-old ones. No way in hell I'll spend money for high-priced back issues if I can get a sweet collected edition, am I right? But with all the TPB rage this days, and the fact that most are low-priced (even with up to 30% discount on places like Amazon.com) I can understand people who go mostly for TPBs.

The Infinity Gauntlet / War / whatever you

The Infinity Gaultlet is a pretty kick ass story, but I don't really care for the other two that followed. I remember reading it and watching as Silver Surfer flew at light-speed to take the Gauntlet away from Thanos...and missed??!!?? I thought : "Holy Shit! The heroes are screwed".

    Graphic Novels

MARVELS is my favorite TPB of all time. Ultimate Spider-Man: Power and Responsibility Thor Visionaries: Walt Simonson vol. 1 Fantastic Four Visionaries: John Byrne vol. 1 Earth X Edit: But if you want to go strictly Graphic Novel and not TPB collected editions, then you can do no wrong with X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills. And every Bat-fan raves about The Killing Joke, so you could try that one (I haven't yet, I'm sorry to say.)

    Best ROH shows?

Guys, please help me out. I'm sort of a beginner with ROH, having only watched a few of their high-profile matches like the Round Robin series, 4 way crowning of a champion, and a few others. I plan on buying only 3 of their early videos ( I can only afford three right now) but I have four to choose from. My picks are: Glory By Honor All Star Extravaganza Night of Appreciation Honor Invades Boston I really like guys like AJ Styles, American Dragon, Chris Daniels, but I've heard reat stuff from guys like Paul LOndon and Michael Shane. Can you guys recommend which three I should go with? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Owen vs Bulldog: Final for Euro title...

There's no DVD available with that match, unfortunately, but there SHOULD BE, DAMMIT! I have the match on tape and it's a terrific one, indeed. Hopefully it'll turn up on a future DVD release.

    A Wrestling Move Discussion

Glad to see this thread come back. I have a few moves I need explained: Kryptonite Krunch Emerald Fusion (?) Orange Crush Also there's this move Billy Kidman did to X-Pac on Smackdown way back on the Invasion days (actually the SD right before Invasion) when they teamed with RVD and Jeff Hardy, respectively, I hope somebody knows what I'm talking about: He sorta hooked X-Pac's upper body with his legs, turned him over, and gave him a Pedigree-like move. Does that have a name? Thanks in advance.
