  1. I remember that Ahmed actually defeated Hunter on RAW to qualify for the KOTR but then I don't remember what happened and Hunter replaced somebody on the tournament (don't remember who) and not only beat Ahmed in the semis but went on to win the whole thing. Can somebody explain all these strange turn of events? Certainly Hunter was not the original winner of the tourney since he didn't even qualify originally?

  2. It's RANMA 1/2. And it's a fantastic anime series. After falling in an enchanted lake the boy gets the ability/curse of changing into a girl when he's doused in cold water and reverts back with hot water. It's fricking hilarious and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

  3. Why, yeah. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air saved us from an alien invasion, both as a pilot and as a man in black. Then he went to the wild wild west where he was a bad boy cop when suddenly he got down on his luck with his wife and had to sleep on a subway station with his kid. But suddenly he realized he's a special human species with superpowers which he used to help get men hitched to their desired ladies, only to find himself lonely as the last man on earth.

  4. I think I've said it on another thread but yes, Spectacular Spider-Man is the absolute BEST Spidey cartoon EVER released IMO. I have seen them all and this knocks each one of them out of the water.

Haven't seen the Hulk movies yet but surely will soon. Ditto Next Avengers, from which I've heard nothing but praise. And personally, I thought both Superman/Doomsday and Batman: Gotham Knight sucked. The first one didn't live up to the movie name as it turned into another Luthor confrontation, and the second one just plain bored me with all the different animation and underwhelming stories.

Regarding the Ultimate Avengers movies, I thought they were merely passable. As to why they didn't just adapt the Ultimates comic storylines, I'm guessing they're saving that for the live action movie? At least that's what I heard.

  5. The Matt/Jeff build has had a good turn around. I was afraid they would take the direction of Matt continually trying to force Jeff into the match, but Jeff being all emotional about it. Thankfully- they've just switched to Jeff being furious and destroying people in Extreme Rules matches. The WM match has some good potential now. They realized that Matt Hardy burning now Jeff's house and killing his dog was ridiculous....edited it all out....and seemingly revamped the feud to something better.

Again, Matt didn't actually confess to doing such things, rather he implied doing them. Pulling out that dog collar/leash was a total dick move that IMO cemented Matt as a good heel. This in turn prompted Jeff's angry reaction and his pissed attitude on his last two matches, just going out and beating the shit out of his opponents.

I really don't see where they changed directions or revamped anything. I see this as a natural progression of the feud.

  7. * Kane, Christian Cage, Shelton Benjamin and Finlay defeated MVP, Mark Henry, CM Punk and Kofi Kingston. This match was a bit better than the six-man match they had on TV the other night. Kane got the win after a chokeslam on Punk.

Reminds me of the Wild-Card Survivor Series match back in 1995. Awesome.

I thought exactly the same thing. Can't wait to see it.

  8. It's Miz and Morrison versus The Colons with both tag titles at stake and a Bella twin in each corner.

Ugh. Well, I'm glad to see Miz/Morrison with a tag title match at Mania, but there is no reason Cryme Tyme (and possibly Legacy) shouldn't be in this match as well. We've already seen Miz/Morrison vs. The Colons three or four times.

I thought people were kicking and screaming about a Tag Title Unification match for YEARS around here and now that it's finally going to happen the reaction is "Ugh?" Figures.

Yes, we've seen Colons vs Miz/Morrison three times already (wow, is that really too much nowadays?) but I take that as buildup for the Mania match. And those matches ranged from good to great IMO so if they get decent time at Mania we could be up for a terrific match. Hopefully all four guys take it up a notch for the big night.

And of course there's reason for Cryme Tyme not to be on that match. The feud has been built between Colons and MNM2.0 (with the Bellas attached) only, no need for other teams. CT have been jobbing left and right lately, Shad is supposedly in the doghouse, and finally, well, they suck really.

  9. Maybe it's just me, but they've made it pretty obvious that SmackDown is completely unimportant right now because it's taped and they're not giving anything away ahead of time.

No, it's not just you. Whether it's done on purpose or not, they've made it perfectly clear recently that it's ok if you miss SD, since the all the important stuff happens on Raw.

I don't really know what exactly are you guys watching but a lot of great stuff has happened on SmackDown lately, match-wise specially.

  10. I saw a rumor for a 25-woman Battle Royal, past and present divas. That'd be cool to see.

That was reported as fact by Pwinsider.com.

And I find it amusing that some are treating this fantasy merging of the Titles at WM as fact, even going as far as speculating which Title design they'll keep? When was this Title unification officially confirmed?

  11. I met MVP last year at a signing when he was still the US Champion. He was also nice and out of character, which caught me by surprise. He was very humble and took a few minutes to talk to me and my buddy and thanked us for coming before giving some free autographed 8x10s of him. He was the only Superstar there and his line was LONG. You would've thought it would be for John Cena or Jeff Hardy. It was shocking to see as I didn't think he would get such a big turnout given the fact that he was still a heel at the time.

I had quite the opposite experience with MVP early last year. I saw him at a hotel where the wrestlers were staying and waited until he finished his breakfast so I didn't bother him. Once he came out and I asked him if he could have a picture with me and he just said "No. I only take pictures with women" and he just walked off. He didn't yell or anything but I still found it very rude.
