In an article in Power Slam magazine earlier this year, they wrote that in spite of his potential, Kobashi lost his first 63 matches to test his devotion to the business.

Scotty Anton had his brief ECW run fuding with RVD
Robbie Brookside and David Sammartino both had cruiserweight title shots in WCW in 1998
Phantasio turned up in WWF for about 2 weeks before disappearing and Louie Spicolli as Rad Radford didn't set the world alight.

"Girlfriend In a Coma" by Million Dead and "Cemetry Gates" by The Beautiful Mistake were the only good thing on a Smiths tribute album I bought a year or two ago, likewise "I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend" by Pete Yorn and "Havana Affair" by the Chili Peppers on that Ramones one from a few years ago. The Manics have always had a few good covers, "We're All Borgeois Now", "Take The Skinheads Bowling" and "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel" being personal favourites

"Greatest Hits" by Elton John on vinyl for £2 each

The only good thing about them is that "...Dancefloor" sounds funny when sung in a George Formby voice. Heard about half the album last week, it was dreadfully average

Having got the first Series of AD for Christmas, I was watching it in the living room when my housemate walked in, watched about 5 minutes and walked off, telling me "It's just more obvious unfunny Americans!". My housemate is an idiot
To me, the joy of the show is in the performances. Jason Bateman is an immensely likable "straight man" stuck with his idiot family, especially when confronted with the more OTT characters, his interaction with GOB especially. David Cross is excellent at the visual comedy he's given (his "catlike" attempt at robbing a blind lawyer and his Mary Poppins-style leap from the balcony spring to mind) and even the less in your face characters like Lindsay or George Michael are great, just due to the comic timing of the actors playing them. Plus the guest stars are always fun. The Fonz as a sleazy lawyer? Brilliant. And as for Tony Wonder...

"You're Beautiful" by James Blunt without a shadow of doubt. That fucker was everywhere and it's utter shit. The guy has a nasty, whiny voice plus the fact that the lyrics willfully contradict themselves (she was with another man/I'm not going to worry, I've got a plan.....(later)but I never will have you- clearly you haven't got a fucking plan Blunt!) and you've got a recipe for pure sentimental slop
Also "Hard To Beat" by Hard-Fi was horrible, music for idiots

As an aside, in this months Power Slam magazine, Joe says that Kobashi told him he'd love to fight him again in NOAH, but Joe doesn't think he'll have the time with his TNA commitments. He also mentioned his friendship with Simon Inoki and how he'd love to work for New Japan

I like the fact Jordan is only in there because he finally found a way to counter the crossface...and took part in a PPV match where he didn't win.
