This Sarah Palin thing really annoys me. Did these fools learn nothing from WCW? Rodman, Malone, Arquette. Each one of them hurt the company. Palin was set to become one of the most powerful women in the country, and her consolation prize is 50K to go to a backwater wrestling company and be in a stupid angle that makes everyone involved look like complete morons? This is one time where I was hoping the media slams TNA and tells them to fuck off, but when Fox Sports is putting Palin's head on Beth Phoenix's body, it's almost like they are encouraging this shit. Stop it, now.

I don't know, there is something pleasant about LA if they win the World Series and get to stick it to both Boston and New York.

I might be wrong, but I though WWE considered itself as an entertainment entity and not a sport, which would make them exempt from a state AC. Because then they would have to test the wrestlers for things that are not covered in the "wellness" policy, which almost every one of them would fail.

I was on Yahoo a couple of minutes ago, and Alexis Laree (Mickie James) was the top searched item today. Did she die, announce she's posing for Playboy, or something really huge?

It was a fluke roll-up. It isn't like she powered him into a Dragon Clutch and made him tap out. That makes this even sadder. There was no effort made to make Beth a face. She only needs two minutes to get a "fluke" pin after getting in most of the offense. I don't think it was a fluke at all, either. I mean, what exactly did Santino do to dominate the match to justify Beth getting a lucky victory? Phoenix had an answer for everything. They were even for the tie-up, he couldn't even push her down. SHE out-flexed him (she got the bigger pop). He tries to take her down, she rolls him over and starts punching his lights out. He puts on a headlock, she counters for an atomic drop. Then SHE knocks him down. Then SHE bodyslams him for a nearfall. He manages to to get her to the ropes, but SHE outsmarts him to get the EASY pin. She dominated that match. Santino never stood a chance. If I had to guess, he angered somebody, because that was a burial, not a fluke.

I don't know what's more humiliating, that Beth beat Santino or that it only took her 2 minutes to do it. Santino is done.

I'll reserve judgment until after the PPV, but the Vickie/Edge thing is heading right in a TNA direction with the quick change on TV without a swerve at the PPV. They'll probably break up again next week at the wedding. Because wrestling weddings are always f'ed up.

The Mets just won three of four, including one against the Angels. They are only a game under .500. This is really dumb. Go job Mets. The fact that you did it in the middle of the night will only add to the media ripping you apart.

If the refs had called the foul, it would have been two shots because Barry tried to move away from Fisher and was not shooting. What Barry should have done was shoot into Fisher as soon as Fisher jumped into the air. That would have given him the three free throws to win the game. It was a good no call by the refs, since if he made the three pointer to win the game, it would have been erased for two, and then the game would have gone to OT. That said, stupid play by Kobe Byrant, twice. The "MVP" almost cost them game with the bad shots. The Lakers should have finished this game without that run by the Spurs. I would not be surprised if the Spurs still win this in seven, especially if they keep Byrant out of the foul line. That's just my opinion on it, no doubt the Joey Crawford conspiracy theories will start soon. I mean, Duncan did get him suspended from the playoffs last year, what better way to get revenge than to screw the Spurs out of the Finals.

It's not bush league if they actually do it. However, they had their chance in 1997, and they failed on every level. Until someone actually gets a million, I have no reason to see this as a good move, a move to get ratings, or anything else. And wrestling is a work, so people are expecting a swerve to get someone heat.

Well, that makes wonder something. Is it possible the "drug policy suspension" is really storyline? At first, I thought that WWE was cracking down, but now that I think about it, the last few suspensions did not really affect any storylines. Jeff Hardy not being in Money in the Bank didn't kill it. And the Regal angle was getting annoying anyway. And they don't mention the suspensions on TV. When people have to drop the title due to injury, it is mentioned on TV. I don't know.

Nobody would talk about it if Cena just keeps his mouth shut.

I completely agree with the logic for starting the angle being total crap, but I do think that if someone had to get shaved, it would be Roxxi, since whoever caused it would be the biggest heel knockout on the roster. Which only adds to the stupidity of the match, since Gail won (so is she the heel, she could have just let Roxxi get the title shot to spare her).

The immunity thing on Impact hurt the angle. Gail needed to be eliminated before the match for it to actually mean anything. Or give it to either Velvet or Angelina and put them in the final so they can double team Roxxi. Once Gail was in the ladder match, everyone knew that Roxxi was getting her head shaved. Or not have the immunity match at all, which actually helps Kim since it shows that she's willing to have her head shaved to get a shot at the title. Or don't put that lame stip in the middle of the match where one of the beautiful people would take Gail's place, since them screwing over Roxxi makes sense in the storyline anyway. There, about six different ways that this angle could have been salvaged, and TNA chose none of them because they are idiots. I'm going back to watching Nikki Roxx matches, because I'd rather see good wrestling instead of stupid storylines.

If Jericho's return is like the 1999 return, it'll be a failure. Either because it's a rehash that wipes out the last 6 years he was in the company, or because it'll tease a great feud that never happens until it's already too late.

My interest in this show has been renewed. It's great seeing the little people get tortured by House. We need more of this.
