From what I saw on the OVW DVD from a couple of years back, Rico might've been able to carry a more serious gimmick, but he did the gay guy thing so very well and made me and my dad chuckle enough that I don't mind.

I'm not dense, I just don't know who that singer is.

I think my strategy there would be to mostly do my stuff on the PS2 and transfer my profile over, buy Jake, and go back....but then I haven't bought a portable since the Game Boy Pocket

Czech Republic MP3 Player Crisis 2006
Masked Man of Mystery replied to The Czech Republic's topic in No Holds Barred
Excuse me. If you were just pointing out that they were talking about me in that thread, than thank you -
Just sent me a pm asking me the identity of the man in my avatar. I don't have MTV or any other way of seeing bands. About the only TV I watch is pro wrestling. I can only recognize a handful of musicians. I keep seeing your avatar and it bugged me that I didn't know who it was. Sorry, didn't mean to be a pain. And before anyone points out the irony of that staement while having Jerry Garcia in my sig, well, Jerry Garcia plain stands out. Also, I've been listening to nothing but GD and Lesh in terms of music lately other than a few CDs I got for my birthday because they're free and there isn't much music I like that I want to buy

I'll definitely check out the Coltrane. I've been doing "Jazz Sunday Brunch" with an ex-gf of mine, and am already running out of good jazz on my iPod. Anything new that I can add to the mix is going to help break up the monotony. It's WMA, if IPods can't handle that and you don't know how to convert it, let me know and I'll send you my mp3 of it -
Kid goes absolutely berzerk on computer
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Fartsauce's topic in General Chat
I agree, especially with the camera angle. Either that or the kid's mentally ill. He's just angry and yelling too much while still sitting there -

And the world is better off for it, 'cause most corporate music stations suck...I'll be very happy when the local rap stations go down in flames -
Best rapper from Houston currently?
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Music
So what else is there other than money, bitches, hoes, cars, bling, parties, what's my name, and represent ur hood raps? There's that Donkey Kong song that Will Smith did, possibly as the Fresh Prince, I'm not sure -
Czech Republic MP3 Player Crisis 2006

MMoM, I'll give you one caveat: Czech hates the Grateful Dead, along with most other 'jam bands'. I was being very sarcastic when I offered to provide him links to Dead Shows. I'll probably end up grabbing a bunch of shows from some of those links, though. I use archive & nugs (I'm actually listening to Phish from 1995 NYE as I type this) but a couple of the other links are new to me. As long as I can help somone, I'm happy I put them up. If you're a jazz fan at all, grab the Coltrane show on Sugarmegs, clear as can be, just perfect, it's 41 minutes and I think it's all working around "My Favorite Things" -

Archive.org Archive.org (Phil Lesh and Friends) Nugs.net's free stash(GD and other related projects plus other stuff) Deadboots Deadshow.org Sugarmegs(all kinds of stuff, including GD, Dead, and a lot more) GDLive.com Philzone.com's stuff(All Lesh, of course) I make no claim as to how legal anything not on archive.org is, nor do I say they're all good quality. If you need a soundboard that used to be on archive.org, I might be able to help you there, I got some. Hope it helps. -
RIAA claims copying CDs to iPods is unlawful
Masked Man of Mystery replied to SuperJerk's topic in Music
Oh, it is, but if they're selling it as tracks you're spending like $35 for that album -
"These flowers were sent to harass me."
Masked Man of Mystery replied to AndrewTS's topic in Video Games
Y'know, much as I love Metal Gear Solid, I've never smoked, grown a mullet, worn a headband, or shot crazy Russian ladies with a bunch of tranquillizer darts(and there are plenty of them around where I live) -
RIAA claims copying CDs to iPods is unlawful
Masked Man of Mystery replied to SuperJerk's topic in Music
So......podcasts and OC Remixes and stuff from archive.org and like sites only? I could, frankly, get along fine with that, it's where I get most of my music and whatnot anyhow. However, they're dead frickin' wrong. It's like they want business to drop off. Even if they enforce this and say the new iTunes doesn't support ripping, people will just buy new music off the sight and screw the CDs, so they'll still lose money(unless some poor fool tries to dl Apollo 18 by They Might Be Giants and get their wallet raped by the Fingertips Sequence -
BIG announcement expected backstage on Monday
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Dips's topic in The WWE Folder
That would probably be good for both sides, wrestling agrees with a lot of Bush voters and Vinnie seems to agree with the current batch of Republicans -
Congratulations

I had the Super NES version, my problem would be there were a lot of blind jumps as I recall. It was also pretty tough, but cool too

Hogan was working class? Bruno and Austin were good comparisons for the working class every-day man. You can argue that Benoit fits that quality too. Hogan? He was always protrayed as a larger then life icon. That's not working class. Benoit, through his look, the stubble and the missing tooth, the snap suplex, the diving headbutt, the no nonsense entrance, he is the ultimate working class wrestler. He is the blue collar wrestler.

I'm really, really sorry to everyone, especially Patty after he loaned me his characters, but I think I'm just going to take the rest of the month off and start anew in March,I just have nothing in the tank in terms of match writing. I just bought a bunch of old tapes, though, so hopefully I'll get some inspiration from those and come back for Anglemania buid up with some new ideas. Once again, I aplogize to everyone, and I'll see you later. Or you can kick me out, I'll understand if you do that too.

I thought the Minchinoku Pro match from ECW Barely Legal was pretty fun, spotty as all heck, but fun spotty
