Entrance Theme Discussion
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in Brandon Truitt
I'm curious, what do people think of my theme songs? I know Ashburn is in Japanese so people won't know what it means(I don't either). Also, do you think I'd be better going to Dreams, or what? Also, I wanted to point people to the site of ailsean, he's a really cool guitar player with some original work and video game songs covers on his site, all free http://www.ailsean.net -
Entrance Theme Discussion
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in Brandon Truitt
I should also note I changed Tony Capella's theme because of the change in the hosting policy of the Grateful Dead and because Jerry really sounds awful at his last show -
Here's the link to my first(in the OAOAST, anyhow) theme, Axelay Kick My Axe OC Remix http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00717/

This is very cool, thanks. I'll post the link to Otaku's old theme later

I wish them well, but I have one little crack to make: perhaps this child is the fruit of the steroid testing?
-
I put the fact that the Canadian Destroyer works up as part of wrestling physics.

He was the dude Foley talked about in his first book who refused to sell for DDP in front of DDP's home town and then went to his bar and pigged out on the free food DDP got everyone, right?

Still looking for something for Otaku this month.

Comments that don't warrant a thread
Masked Man of Mystery replied to {''({o..o})''}'s topic in Video Games
My friend recently gave me his copies of GTA 3 and Vice City, among other things. Am I the only one who doesn't think they're not that great? I mean, I have more fun just listening to the talk stations on the cars then I have with anything else in them. -
Sorry, was a thread derailing post, moving it to the Comments thread

June 2002 in the new WWE:
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Art Sandusky's topic in General Wrestling
Rock would do a lot to help Smackdown, the only problem is they don't have a heel who could be a credible opponent for him. -
Anyone have a good, clear, non commentary covered up version of Vertebreaker? Much love for the post, by the way, I finally have a good version of Goldberg's WCW theme, which just rocked so hard and beats the heck out of his wussified WWF one

He was much, much better today. I'm now willing to give him more time, but if I had Sirius it wouldn't even be a contest.

Okay, I happened to not be able to sleep this morning, and I'm listening, he's definately improving, the discussions are getting more interesting.

What the? What happened to 92.3 KRock?
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Eclipse's topic in General Chat
I don't know the whole story, but I remember turning on Howard Stern one day and he had found out that they were switching formats and....yeah, apparently Infinity decided to kill a bunch of rock stations and make them either Jack stations or talk stations -
I don't mind Van Halen, I got Best of Both Worlds for Christmas, he made fun music back in the day, but that first show sucked(I haven't been up in time to hear him since, and I'd rather listen to Stephanie Miller anyhow )

pictures of Brock Lesner in Japan
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Gary Floyd's topic in General Wrestling
Better than the thing where he was going to be Baldo Train or something like that. -
I'll try to get my match written either over the course of the night or tomorrow, it just isn't happening right now, I have the finish in my mind, just need the meat of the match. Don't hold up the posting of the show in my account

All right, I'll have this in as soon as possible, it should give you guys a laugh Otaku II vs. Emo Kid

I think roaring elbow is the standard American name for a move, even if it's misproounced, like Kung Fu should technically be Gung Fu, because even on the FMW DVDs they call the move roaring elbow

New Japan Dome swansong results
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
I wish there was something like this report for American wrestling. It makes things seems more credible, if that makes sense. -
I had big hopes for Rene, actually. He was decent enough at 20 working with Cena during his summer long USA vs. France/Japana run and thought he could gte better with time. That sucks, man.

It almost felt.....prerecorded or something and edited down before the uncle comes in, I had the radio on for the full 4 hours, but I was hardly paying attention soon after the uncle, I'm sure it was nice for David to talk to him and all, but it wasn't really very interesting. I'm really hoping Sirius gets a good walkman type thing now, because even having to pay for Howard Stern will be better than this dreck, and in my opinion nothing good is really on until 9am where I am, which is when Stephanie Miller comes on. At least in my opinion.

I'll be honest, I skimmed the awards and whatnot, I'll try to read through them in greater detail later, but my main thing was the matches. I very much liked the GM match, for some reason I kept thinking it was in the TNA ring or something. A good brutal match, although Clavin strikes me as more the natural GM given body type and whatnot. Axel is too hungry for competition to be a proper GM from what I've seen of him. The World title match, however, bugged me. The whole face/heel dynamic was inverted, I felt sympathy for Joesph with the broken arm, then getting clocked with the chair, Knight and Axel came off more like heels to me

Actually, a "stunner" is perfect for wrestling, even though it's sold completely wrong. All you need is for an opponent to not be able to get his shoulders up by a 3 count. You don't need to KO a person necessarily. The problem occurs when people sell a "Stunner" as a KO move
