I did work today, as well. We were actually quite busy. I don't mind July 4th, other than all the flag shirts, they just bother me. Fly your flag from your window or whatever, and leave it at that. I hate too much of this patriotic symbolism, because it just gets stupid with American flag everything. You can even put a towel down on the beach with the flag design on it and no one bats an eye, despite the fact that the flag should never get torn or touch the ground. Those, I believe, are legimate reasons to burn a flag

Actually, the current situation is why I think WWF made a huge mistake when they dropped King of the Ring. They could have built up Orton's cred by having him win KOTR, then beat Benoit, and move on, but right now, does Orton really have ANY credibility? Who was the last person he actually beat? I personally think Dave Batista will be eating JBL's clothesline very soon, unless they go with a groan inducing Basham vs. JBL thing. Orton will be jobbing for Taker for the rest of the summer, since no one gets put over by Taker anymore, They won't elevate Christian, so he'll be going after the US title, and for some reason they want to destroy the soul of Eddie or something. Actually, what about Regal? I've heard he's been acting more heelish, maybe he'll be this year's JBL, only, you know, good. Eh, it's late and I'm rambling now

I'm getting my bottom 2 taken out next week, wish me luck. I'm loading up on DVDs and tapes in preparation. Thank God my shipment from ADV came in. I'm hoping it isn't too bad, because I'm scheduled to work the next two days after the unpleasantness. Dumb thing is I don't need to, but my mother is basically insisting that I do it while I'm under their insudrance, but it's entirely possible I'll be getting injected with novacaine(I am terrified of being KO'ed and any sort of gas that would screw with me) for no good reason.

You know, I'd put the Rock on here, but I seem to remember him sort of dogging it on Smackdown and using a lot of punch kick wrestling, whereas I go back and watch his PPV work and I love it. Anyone else notice anything like that?

I just recently got Metal Gear Solid 2. I dislike Raiden. He's a dumb bishonen with the personality of a rock and I just like Snake way better. I learned much more about him in my short time with him than I have about Raiden because these is development of the character on the boat. Metal Gear Ray(or was it Rex?) reminds me of an Eva. I have rented both Madden 2005 and the 2005 ESPN game and despite having old versions of both engines, I find Madden to be extremely boring while I can have fun with ESPN. I also like how they have all of the forms of the jerseys in ESPN, screw having NFL Europe. The crib thing is dumb though. Why would I want to play celebreties in football? That wasn't executed well. Speaking of football, I want an ALF game. I for one am sick of these Streetball games, I want Midway to go and remake old school 2 on 2 NBA Hangtime or Jam with nor real changes, maybe new animations. Are any of the Gundam games any good? The last one looks real interesting to me as a fan of the series, because it looks like I could put Deathscythe vs. the RX-78(original Gundam) in 3-D space or something. I want to see Star Fox evolve beyond the rail shooter. I also want whoever came up with the ground missions in Star Fox Assault to die unless it was a temporary moment of insanity for Miyamoto or the other Nintendo gods. I also hate that they retired Peppy and put frickin' CRYSTAL in there. She was riding a dinosaur a year or two ago, and now she's a pilot on the most elite starfighter group in the Lylat system? Baloney! They had TWO perfectly usable female characters they could have put in, Katt Monroe and Fara Phoenix(Fara appeared in a Nintendo Power comic as a romantic interest for Fox). I want to see another old school Kirby game. I want AKI to make the TNA game, even if it has to be made by EA, I'd buy it despite my hatred of EA. As of two years ago, NBA Live was the same game I was playing on my Super Nintendo when I first rented NBA Live '96, which is in my mind the greatest basketball game ever made. I haven't bothered with the new games. How are the ESPN basketball games? Pro Race Driver is impossible to be good at, I think. Not without being a total gear head. MMA games suck. They always have and they always will. It just doesn't transition well to a game. I hate aiming my swing in baseball games. I want to buy a good new soccer game. When my little brother's friend sold us his broken PS2(we got it fixed for free by Sony by some miracle of God), he gave us World Tour Soccer 2002, and it remains our go to game when we get bored playing other stuff. I don't understand why WWF games post Shut Your Mouth don't allow one to put logos or text across the crotch area when real wrestlers have been doing it for years. They even have wrestlers in the games who do it(Rock and Mark Jindrak come to mind) Does anyone make really good platform games anymore? Mario Sunshine was so disappointing to me, and while I might check out Jack 1 or the platforming, the new ones go in a very differant direction from what I see, with more gun stuff thrown in. Just for kicks, I'd like to see a non porn dating sim make it to the U.S. A real one, not this crud that is going on the DS. Maybe Tokimeki Memorial or something. I want more Mario 64 style games, without a water pump, thank you very much. This is related to some previous statements I have made. I want a Daredevil game of some sort. I am bored with side scrolling fighter games, I think I played too much Super Street Fighter II and Alpha II back in the day. I can't think of anything else right now, catch you later

Every one else on the show rocked, I just wasn't feeling it going into the show for whatever reason. I'm hoping to do something next week to make up for it. Also, kudos to Papacita for his garphics, those were awesome.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but just because you don't like them doesn't mean that ALF(like the WWF, I continue to call it Arena League Football), golf, and tennis aren't sports. I don't call drivers athletes. But that's another argument for another time

Because my mom was so very anti wrestling(Still is, for that matter), I knew long before I actually began watching wrestling, which was in 1999. I had seen bits and pieces here and there and I knew of some of ther personalities, but couldn't watch 'till Smackdown started up, which is when my mom worked nights, so my dad and I watched it because he always liked it

Neon, you just joined us, don't be an idiot and get yourself banned. I personally like Funaki, although I could see him and a lot of the others mentioned get fired. I think they'll keep Stevie so the OVW hosses have someone to kill on Heat when they debut. WWF is getting like WCW though, with so much talent and they don't care enough to use it all properly, and they continue to bring in absolute slugs who bring nothing or give wrestlers dumb gimmicks. How am I supposed to care about Matt Morgan if the only things they get otu about him is that he's big, strong, and stutters? I'd rather see them make him a killer ie when Benoit was in his Crippler phase. Have him slughter some guys like they did for Lesnar. That's a better use of Shannon Moore or Scotty than anything they're doing now

Personally, I'd rather see him go to TNA, maybe work with his brother a bit, and get away from the whole situation
