If it fleshes out some stuff, I might go for the Daredevil discs, and if I hear the extras are good enough I'll get Spidey as well.

I have a "Super Hits" CD of Miles, and I LOVE it. I didn't much care for Birth Of the Cool, but I need to get around to more Miles. I have A Love Supreme, and I really like it, I just wish there was more on the CD. "In the Mood" is always a fav of mine, despite the fact that I don't like how Glenn Miller presented his band. I like everything I've heard by Artie Shaw. I like Louis Armstrong once they got some order to the music and it didn't sound like bad cartoon background music. Oh, and I dig Keiko Matsui's Cherry Blossum. Haven't heard her other CDs yet though. By the way, there's some fun jazz over at Overclocked Remix. Make sure you check out the One Up Mushroom's homepage.

First of all, what about NBA Hangtime? That was awesome. I liked using San Antonio in TE. I barely played the original.

Disney goes ahead with Toy Story 3, sans Pixar
Masked Man of Mystery replied to a topic in Television & Film
Uhm, what exactly does that mean? What's a Ghibli? Studio Ghibli is the best anime studio in Japan. Disney has the distribution rights for every place outside of Japan. Their last movie was Spirited Away, if you recall that one. I'm not really a big fan of anime, actually. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it just seems to "choppy" to me. Like I've seen anime (And this could very well be just a very bad type) where a character could go from completely calm to all the the air and pissed off and whatnot without the cartoon actually showing the character jump in the air. It depends on what you watch. Just remember, every anime studio does it's own thing. Go see Kiki's Delivery Service sometime. You'll know what I love these guys. Don't give up on anime because of one bad apple. For every Legend Of Lemnear, you'll have yourself a good anime like Dragonball(DBZ is very differant from the original) or Noir or Excel Saga(although if you don't like really jumpy things don't bother with Excel Saga) -
Who's Your Favorite WWE Wrestler?
Masked Man of Mystery replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
Even though I've only seen him in a few WWE matches, some clips, a WAR match or two I've found on Sledgehammer, and the AKI video games, my favorite wrestler right now is Ultimo Dragon. I like the outfit, LOVE the entran,ce and even though they restrict what he can do, he is SO MUCH FUN to watch. That man will go dwon as one of the greatest ever. Yoshihiro Tajiri is always entertaining to watch, and he plays his gimmick so well. He's weird, he's twisted, he can be funny without saying a word, and well, I belive only Low Ki and Ultimo could legitmately trade kicks with him as pro wrestlers go. Benoit is also among my favorites, but he's on RAW and I don;t have cable, so I can't see him anymore. But he's always solid. And for some reason I just like Billy Kidman. Don't ask me why, I know he's not a great cruiser, but I can't deny there's something I like about his work. -
My God, Molly looks REALLY old in that pic.

Are we gonna start a Hass/RVD feud here? -

This is awkward. RVD's leg is hurt, but now he's taking the offense. Poor decision on their part as RVD's gonna screw up the selling. -
Over at Sledgehammer someone posted a link to what they say is the full show from1/4/04. I got it, and I'm wondering if anyone could give me the card so I can put names with the faces, as I'm not a huge puro guy and the only ones I recognize are Jado, Gedo, Tiger Mask IV, and Jushin Lyger.

Okay, I finally got around to watching the DVD I got during the Walgreens DVD clearence after Thanksgiving. I would greatly appreciate it if people could give their theories as to what was going on in the movie. I'm really not sure I totally got it, but I think the Blair Witch possesed Tristen and possibly the rest of the main characters to make them kill. I'm not too sure about it though.
-
Well then, PM me with theories. I want to know what people think about it.

Star Wars novels made into movies...
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in Literature
I do like Kevin Anderson's books, and if nothing else, the Bounty Hunter Trilogy is good for proving that Lucas simply does not care. EVERY SINGLE WRITER who wrote a novel respected the fact that each and every novel and comic book is cannonical. But what does George Lucas do? He creates Attack Of the Clones, which screws up the Bobba Fett origin big time. In "Hard Merchandise", we are told by Fett how he got Slave I custom made by Kuwat Drive Yards and searching it for bugs and whatnot. He didn't inherit the ship from his father. -
"Dance With My Father" by Luther Vandross My parents aren't dead, but thinking about the idea does make me cry. I actually had to turn away from a costumer once when I was working because that song came on and I had to wipe away my tears. It might have something to do with me seeing my parnets in a casket in my head when my school(I went to a Catholic school) made my class go to a funeral for a janitor of the school or something,

Disney goes ahead with Toy Story 3, sans Pixar
Masked Man of Mystery replied to a topic in Television & Film
Right now the only thing Disney has going for it is the fact that they have the rights to the Ghibli movies and when they release Nausicaa the <The Rock>MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF NAUSICAA'S FANS</The Rock> will be giving them quite a bit of money. Myself included. Ah well ,maybe not millions in the States. But that is among the greatest things ever animated, period. -
Does anyone know why stuff was cut out of Era Of Honor Begins? I compared the card to Dames' review of the show and there was at least one match cut.

I think the last thing I got in a K Mart was a cheap(But suprisingly good widescreen print) of The Chinese Connection for $5. Like I said, I was amazed at how good it looked.

When the Pitbulls Superbombed Little Guido(aka Nunzio) at Wrestlepalooza '97, I was amazed he hadn't been hurt, that looked sick.

BIG news for anime fans
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in Television & Film
That got released a long time ago by Manga -
The story If these are done the same way as the previous Buena Vista Miyazaki DVDs, I'll be happy. Finally I won't have to put up with the old Fox dub for Totoro(althugh that seems like a decent job), and I'll have DVDs of Nausicaa and Porco. Is anyone else excited about this?
