Leftwich doesn't seem to make decisions like he just got hit in the head with a hammer, but we'd basically be giving up one completely immobile quarterback for another. At least Leftwich has a minor height advantage. We don't need a Michael Vick back there. We need a guy that gets the ball where the receivers are and like you said, Leftwich doesn't make horrible decisions like Grossman does. I think Leftwich got the shaft in Jacksonville because Del Rio never liked the guy, so it would be interesting to see how he does on a team that has an open mind towards him.

That's a safe assumption to make here. And yes, that includes Mr. Drug-Free CM Punk here too...

Mike Brown suffers a season-ending injury every year. As good as he is, the Bears need to cut their losses and move on and find a permanent replacement for him.

Really? Aren't voters usually hesitant to take votes away from an idle team? I mean with Michigan last season, they had basically lost their conference title game while Florida won theirs, so that's justified in voters putting Florida over Michigan after an idle week, but they are still in love with USC. Then again LSU did just beat the ridiculously high ranked VT.

I guess it means they don't completely buy the Big East powerhouses as TRUE powerhouses, compared to what is now a second tier SEC team.

I don't think either USC or LSU or both would escape unscathed, so Oklahoma is probably guaranteed a spot in the title game.

Oh and Wake Forest was robbed of a chance to at least tie against Nebraska thanks to an uncalled pass interference penalty.
