Once again, not seeing what the gripe is. Is my statement false? Either you think Vick is not wrong or you don't think the media is blowing the case up because he is a superstar player with cornrows or bling bling or that he is black or whatever else? Otherwise because I worded the sentences differently, doesn't make them unrelated.

Pleading guilt pretty much seals the deal for Vick, Ripper. It doesn't matter what he is exactly guilty of, he is guilty of something, so I don't see what you are arguing about. Are you denying that you said the media portrayed Vick in a negative light way before the facts of the case came out? If that's what you're saying, I'll kindly point out each and every of your posts in which that point is being made. Otherwise, what are you arguing about? I said you said Vick was wrong about some things but that the media made it out to be a big deal before anything was confirmed. Perhaps it is YOU that needs to admit to not reading. That could be true except Rex Grossman was much better at Florida, though obviously the college level is weaker than the professional level, but at Florida, Grossman broke some records and is usually considered one of their better quarterbacks in history. I think his problem is that he thinks "Ok I have to be the best quarterback Chicago has ever seen" and he puts all this undue pressure on himself and I guess he just can't perform well with that perceived pressure on him. Michael Wilbon pointed out that it's harder even so for Grossman because he plays in a big market like Chicago, and since Bears fans can be quite ruthless in their criticism, it's fazing him. I dunno, just my guess.

Grossman and Lovie Smith says Rex won't fumble a single snap this season. He'll get picked off and all that but no FUMBLES! I don't buy it but we'll see. The departure of Scott will hurt more than Boone. As far as I know Boone was a third stringer in the depth chart last season, so it's not a big loss. Scott was a primary backup, so we have to hope the starters stay healthy.
