The thing is, Peyton doesn't have any bad situations going against him, however minor. That's why people might give Peyton the benefit of doubt. The only situation I heard that has gone against Peyton is that sexual harassment case against his school (that I'm not even sure involved him), and that his brother pulled that draft bullshit on San Diego (that isn't Peyton's fault unless he advised Eli on it). Vick would probably have been given the benefit of doubt, even with his current look, if he has Peyton's background as far as being a "role model" in the NFL community.

Not that it makes sense, but let's be honest, does it really matter? I don't even notice the nameplate anyways. I see a guy with the belt, I assume he is the champion (unless they do a belt theft storyline).

The problem I have with football players coming in for matches is that TNA is not at the point where football players should be beating their talent, because it just makes the casual fans think worse of TNA wrestlers. And on the other hand, there's no point in having football players be involved if all they do is job to the wrestlers. It's not like a fan is going to think "Wow, this guy beat Pacman Jones. He's really good!" It worked in the WWF because Bam Bam was proven to be quite expendable in WWF plans while having some credibility beforehand. And Lawrence Taylor is Lawrence Taylor. No one will question a hall of fame linebacker who made a living pulverizing offensive players for years. And WWF built to the Taylor match better than TNA could ever do with Pacman.

Don't be silly. If Lesnar comes in, Vince Russo will forget about Joe faster than Milli Vanilli and just build on to Angle vs Lesnar.

The thing is, Abyss is getting a title shot at the next PPV so they will have to find a way to derail Joe's path to the title at least for one PPV, and I can't see them coming up with anything, since it was a woman interfering in the match.

Found a problem in the Superstar mode. It looks like they simply transferred the "Welcome to the Family" messages that you get when you are drafted from 07. One example is the Raiders owner telling you to listen to Art Shell, despite him not being the coach anymore.

That NBA player quiz is too easy to manipulate to get who you want. Some answers are quite transparent.

That's good news I guess. Gives Carroll enough time to push Booty out if needed to be. ESPN painted a grim picture in regards to Sanchez's injury so that's why I might have overreacted about it.

I'm going to disagree. The spot was a botch. Carlito hits it. Does some sort of cocky heel thing. Cener then procedes to FU him. It was a no-sell. Carlito has an expression of fear on his face after failing to hit the move. It was meant to put over Umaga as too hard to hit moves on, especially by someone like Carlito.

And to make things worse, if Booty sucks too bad, they won't have Mark Sanchez to fall back on. Isn't Booty considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in the nation? Why would you expect him to suck? No. He's an USC quarterback. There's a degree of hype to him that isn't justified. It's easy to look good when you had Dwayne Jarrett and Steve Smith catching passes from you. With that, USC lost two games, one against Oregon State and one against UCLA (a game that USC had to win if they wanted in on that national title game). In a poll during the College Football show on ESPN, they asked who fans wanted leading their team, Booty was one of the choices and he received the lowest percentage of the votes, so no I don't imagine many fans consider him one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. Just a caretaker quarterback on a routinely explosive offense. At this point, and even last season, I have been calling for Mark Sanchez to be the starting quarterback, not Booty, so it's a blow to me that Sanchez is injured, since if Booty gets injured or sucks with unproven receivers (besides Turner and maybe McFoy) around him, they will have to either turn to Mike McDonald or a true freshman.

Do you HONESTLY want Cena to retain? After a year of holding that damn belt? Yes. Anyone but Orton. At the very least I have a champion that represents the company well outside of the ring. Orton was one fuck-up away from being fired, and I want him as my champion? No.

After getting the game, I want to say it's pretty good. I like that you can manipulate the system that your favorite team drafts your player. So Bears, here I come.
