Yeah I'm hitting the store when the clock strikes midnight. Hopefully they will allow the Falcons or the Bears to draft my QB in Superstar mode.

Because that's something we're ALL dying to see... -
I think the prime example is Jordan with Wizards.

Let's see... TNA has terrible buyrates (like late WCW levels last I heard), not so impressive ratings (albeit for the network, it's impressive enough I guess), stale acts and storylines, bookers who won't listen to fans, rapidly deteriorated locker room morale... yeah a boycott will show them.

Because football is under one league. MLB is more like when there was a NFL and an AFL, sending their champions to a Super Bowl. People want to see interleague happen less often (ie: one series a year or only vs a rival like Cubs/White Sox or Yankees/Mets)-- (Addressed to Undertakerhart)

WWE General Discussion for August 2007
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Not really. It's just a picture of Orton staring ahead with a creepy grin in front of some sort of rundown wooden barn type structure with the moon beyond the door. He has his hands cupped and a white dove hanging midair in a landing motion within the cupped hands. (Describing the poster to luke-o) -
People here are actually surprised at this shit? Hell I'm surprised some of you even bothered to watch the PPV. I watched the preseason NFL game instead and I'm happier for it.

How did Killings come off in the Pacman segment though?

It's weird because it seems like Nakamura is their long term "golden boy" yet it is Tanahashi that gets the pushes. Not that I'm complaining, as I prefer Tanahashi of the two. -

They wanted Cena to win the title probably since Mania 20. The U.S. title run was his warmup before the big title. -

No it wouldn't have. -
Czech, how did Grossman look? Did they do anything with Hester on offense?
-
Not really. I think Taker needs to lose once at Mania before hanging it up. I don't care what you debated or what other Taker fanboys might think, this is better for the business than to have Taker retire with it intact. Besides, that's immaterial to what I said. Your scenario had Taker winning the title sometime before Mania, presumably in the fall, then carrying the belt through past Mania, including a high profile win over the YOUNGER GUY WITH MORE UPSIDE AT THIS POINT, Edge. That's something I would never sign off on.

Four team race. The gap between Minnesota and Chicago White Sox is smaller than the one between Minnesota and Cleveland. Nah, it's just two teams. Minnesota doesn't have the pitching to make a comeback, and the Sox need to go 27-20 just to finish at .500, not to mention passing three teams. It's just Detroit and Cleveland, realistically. I know, my point was if Minnesota was still in the race, you'd have to consider the Sox too. I know it's just Indians and Tigers at this point. As for Wells, he retired, so I can't see him going anywhere since the only reason he went to San Diego was to retire in his hometown.
-
Frank Wycheck had been retired for years now. Titans don't exactly have control over retired players. Now if they had argued about Kyle Vanden Bosch, they'd have a case.
-
I already mentioned that.
-
If Taker is coming in Mania champion, I'd rather he jobbed to Edge.

Statistically Green and Bledsoe ARE ahead of Brady, if at the very least, due to them amassing more numbers over a longer career. This is a list based on NOW. In 10 years or whenever Brady retires, he will likely be in the top 10, if he continues as he is going along. The list isn't about who wins the most. It's about who PERSONALLY performed the best statistically. Brady had average seasons up until maybe 2 years ago, if that. It makes sense.
-
Tom Brady being 54 is Exhibit A as to never make a 'greatest' list purely based on stats. Why not? It's one of the better ways to find these stuff out. It separates a Montana from a Trent Dilfer, for example, who wins just because he had a great defense backing him up and not too many mistakes to be made along the way.
-
That's because if he gets hurt then he is worthless in any trade that can get. I just find it odd that the judge is basically letting the Titans block Jones from making a living, since he is suspended without pay, so I figured the judge would grant the order on condition that the Titans pay him money to do what they want him to do, sit at home and do nothing. However, I also wonder where was this outrage when Kyle Vanden Bosch appeared at a TNA event in a ringside corner capacity while also being under contract to the Titans. Anything that fucks over TNA is fine with me though, just so they learn not to deal with celebrities unnecessarily.

What? It was a Tennessee fan who mentioned the whole "Pac-10 defenses sucks besides USC!" UCLA has a great defense, Oregon State has a decent defense and there are some other Pac-10 defenses that are underrated, but offense is what dominates the Pac-10, and you can't win with just a good defense there. That's why I don't know why USC is #1 if all they have going for them is defense, really. Anyways my point is don't paint USC fans as people who won't give credit where credit is due. We're not like Matt Leinart or anything like that.

MVP was an overrated athlete who got overpaid. Pacman is actually a good corner. There's a difference.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Dude, Bret was a WWF/E employee for 10+ years before he even set foot in WCW. Surely they would focus on that more than the 2-3 years he spent in WCW, especially as you said, it didn't amount to much there.
