The travel schedule is as much of a problem as the actual in-ring time. Even if one of the wrestlers doesn't actually wrestle, he would still have twice as many shows that he has to attend. That's true, but there are some people who has to travel that heavily (HHH for example), so the creative team especially the higher ups are just going to go "We do it, you can do it too."

But it's not like the top guys has to wrestle EVERY show. If they booked it smart, they'd have the upper midcarders/midcarders do most of the wrestling while the top guys have interviews or in-ring segments that aren't matches.

I know it was a dick thing. I was 15 and I was basically getting everyone's work dumped on me, so in the final month or so, I just started not giving a shit about work, so I was riding around work on a scooter, playing games while on the clock, even golfing in that indoor mini-golf course while supposed to be working, and just generally being a bad employee. Then I realized it was better for everyone if I just didn't show up.

I got "fired" from Enchanted Castle, which is this arcade/playland sort of thing, because I simply stopped showing up for work for more than two weeks. They called my mother while I was at school and basically "fired" me. Guess they needed the satisfaction of officially firing me when it was quite apparent I quit by no-show. The funny part is they cited an incident which occurred while I was actually still working there that they saw me riding a scooter around the arcade on the security tapes as the reason for the firing.

Since shows go to an area maybe twice, thrice a year, parents are going to be willing to take their kids one school night a year to see wrestling. Don't be stupid.

Fair enough, but let's be honest here. They can't possibly do any worse than some Big XII teams. I will say this, geographically it makes no sense for Boise State to join the conference anyways, so I would prefer to put them in the Mountain West (which is a lateral move at best anyways) or Pac-10 for upward mobility.

Well I'm speaking in terms of leading Oklahoma the majority of the game. Yes they squandered the lead, which is where their inexperience comes in. But if they were such a small time school, they'd have rolled over and died. They didn't. They went on to beat Oklahoma in the end, which is all that matters. They aren't being put on a high pedestal. They are ranked 42nd after all. They just need more recognition, because rail on the WAC all you want, it is a NCAA Division 1-A conference, and teams shouldn't be penalized for belonging to it. Let's not forget Boise State has only been a Division 1-A school for 6 years now.

Except Boise State did beat Oklahoma. So they could still beat them again in the conference title game. Call it a fluke all you want, but that's college football. That would be odd as most people here was picking Orton as the one they wanted to win at Summerslam. Though if that is really the reason for the drop, hopefully the WWE realizes this. The less time Orton is in the main event, the better, IMO.
