It would seem they have quite the bulletproof excuse in the Benoit tragedy. I wonder if WWE would be complacent and just push whatever or if they would still panic, if the rating drops.

As "smarks" do we want the ratings to fall further when HHH returns or rise?

They have been moving towards a trend of having their star rookie quarterback sit at least half a season to learn the offense as opposed to throwing them to the wolves. The only guys in recent history I remember that started relatively soon was Vince Young.

Guess they have found that minimum core fanbase rating (3.4 has been the rating for the past few weeks, hasn't it?)

I guess I have more faith in Derek Anderson. Way I see it, Derek Anderson will get 4-5 games at the very least, then it'll be Charlie Frye, if Anderson fails, with that many. If Quinn comes in, it's just for two games or so to end the season.

Quinn won't even get 20 snaps, let alone 20 TDs this season.

Not that I can answer for luke-o, but personally I detest using high impact matches willy-nilly. I save those matches for the blowoff of a major feud (read: feuds with heat of 95 or higher).

Alright, whatever dude. I don't care either way. Obviously I go to both the wrestling folders and the pop culture folders. I just disagree with the attitude that you know, "OMG we need to get the sucky posters out. I know this, but it seems that you're using their long history as losers as a justification that the Falcons are doing well now. Isn't the point of each season to do better than everyone else EVERY season? The Bears only had three winning seasons in the past decade or so, but if they plummetted to 3rd place in the division for a few years in a row, I certainly wouldn't be saying "Well we were good for a while there. Its ok!"

Actually someone provided numbers the last time this subject was brought up, that wrestling gets the most traffic. If that changed, it certainly was a quick turnaround.

Wrestling is still the top draw here. The order in which the folders are arranged is fine as it is.

I liked them for Jamal Anderson, who only shined for a few years. I was excited both as a Bears fan and a sorta Falcons fan when they upset the Vikings in 98 to go to the Super Bowl. That rocked. I know Vick is an "exciting" playmaker and all that, but they have obviously done nothing to build around him and relied on him too much to do stuff. He's not good enough for the team to be "Michael Vick and the Falcons", but would have been better in "The Falcons with Michael Vick", if that makes sense. BTW, being 8-8 every season doesn't constitute a winning way, and if it does to you, well... I'm sorry for you.

Same here, the Falcons were one of the teams I liked in the 1990s, but ever since they grabbed Vick in the draft, I just downright hated them. Though I know that as a budding Charger fan, I should be happy since it got us LT and Drew Brees.

Godfish is right about this one. The only instance I remember of a big man starting to showcase his amateur wrestling/technical wrestling skills (after initially being showcased as a power wrestler) is Brock Lesnar, but he had no choice, being paired up with guys like Angle and Benoit and even Eddie.

Yeah I don't know where luke-o is coming from there. Shelly Martinez looked better in that poor quality picture than she has looked the entire time she was on ECW TV. Perhaps if she gained 100 pounds, that'll suit luke-o just fine.
