What would it take to make you interested in the WWE again
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
If they do the ref-shoot thing, they should go all out with it and just book the matches and let the finishes take care of itself. Then book the storylines based on legitimate wins/losses. But that probably would hurt the product more than help it. -
Total non-stop action? They've had too much of that, to let people sink it in.
-
Just play EWR for free or pay for TEW like a man.
-
To further follow up on the brand split, I've tweaked my WAR fed to have 2 branded hard split, ECW and WCW (East Coast Wrestling and West Coast Wrestling), with 5 titles each (World Heavyweight, United States, Television, Tag Team and Juniors). Two prime time shows (one per brand) and two late night shows (again, one per brand). This should adequately feature everyone.

No because NYG would have gotten Shawne Merriman, Nate Kaeding, and something else. It's not like Eli had a shitty RB to work with.

So? Isn't the point of these games to book your favorite guys better than in real life? If HHH/HBK/Taker get all pissy, job them out to your favorites & release them when their contracts run out. Fuck 'em. There's a fine line there though. If you keep unhappy workers, they actually affect morale of the others. What I do with unhappy workers that are being unreasonable is job them out to one or two guys then demote them to hell until their morale drops past 40 and then offer a release, which they will be happy to accept without having it count against the salary (for written contracts only though, open contracts are easier to release).

That's true. The roster split idea wasn't fully fleshed out in EWR and was mostly a cosmetic feature. Either edit their attitude to 100 so that they'd be complete professionals or don't sign them. I have done 4 branded feds before without any problems with that.

I always wondered that too. As good as Jackie Robinson was, I think Josh Gibson would have made a bigger splash in the majors.
-
I don't know why Zachary Quinto isn't nominated. He made the show as good as it is with how wonderfully he has portrayed Sylar.
-
I find out in two seconds (looks out the window) oh there it is.
-
It's the opposite for me. I just cannot consciously book short reigns. A short reign for me would be 6 months long.
-
I'm not going to debate the issue. What happened happened. Nice what if scenario though. Here's one: Barry Sanders doesn't retire, and picks up the rushing record and puts the record far out of Emmitt Smith's reach.

I don't know but I doubt he was seriously considering leaving Chicago. He probably used the NY folks as a negotiation tactic. Like "Hey if you aren't going to give me a fair deal, I got someone downstairs who will" sort of thing.

The AIM Away Messages of a Bi-Polar
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Bruiser Chong's topic in No Holds Barred
I do think it exist but I do also think there are some people who are just acting up for the sake of getting attention. -
Oh I hated Zilla. Great, guess I won't be as interested as I was earlier.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Usually January. -
You know what could be a refreshing change of pace? An action/horror movie based on the Rampage video game series. edit: Venkman, I checked wiki, there's no mention of Godzilla anywhere on the Cloverfield article.
-
If that was the plan, they would have done it already. Nitro is here to stay.

I actually like the gimmick. It's not boring compared to some others like... Kennedy's. -

Hopefully this is not a prelude to a similar death to Eddie, but I fear it might be. -
Not that I doubt it, but I don't really see why WWE should. Joe's a world class worker, no question, but WWE has shown they don't really care about that kind of thing, and they are quite happy with their version of a samoan monster in Umaga. That being said, I do actually hope Joe goes to WWE, just so I can see him work the big names.

D'oh, that's what I get for reading a bumped thread.

The aforementioned Battleground site has people posting diaries. I created a new fed on national level called WAR (Wrestling Allied Revolution), and it's picking up steam steadily. Let's hope I don't quit on it after a few weeks like I always do.

You know, if Joe turned it down, does that mean Joe isn't ever going to get closer to the World title than he is right now?
