Jill Jarrett, the wife of Jeff, passed away last night. While we don't have a lot of details, she had been battling cancer on-and-off for many years and her health issues had gotten worse over the past two months. For the past many weeks, Jeff had been by her side virtually 24/7. When she was hospitalized, he had been practically living in the hospital, and when he had to do TVs, he would stay with her as long as possible, they fly from Nashville or Orlando, do his segments early, and then he would rush back that night. While most in TNA were aware of her situation to a degree and could readily see what was happening, he only talked in detail to a few people, such as Don West, hence some of West's comments on the air on television. I think some could see this, but the first interview Jeff did on the air when he came back was very emotional for him, for Mike Tenay conducting it and for West at the desk. Jeff has young children and being someone in that same situation, I could only imagine what he's been going through during this ordeal. I simply couldn't imagine anything that could be worse. We send our deepest sympathies to Jeff and his children. wo.com yeah, that's a guy who doesn't care. I stress the word "rumor". Honestly I'm glad he was devoted to her in her final days.

I'm sorry if my explanation is going over your head, but you made it clear of your preference, so we'll leave it at that. I like how it looks because it looks like a real serial killer with a few loose nuts in his head. Moreso than any "methodical" look that Joker could possibly have.

I like that Chicago seems to be brought up in every trade scenario. In the case of Amare, I'd welcome it. In the case of Zach Randolph? No thanks.

I don't know Jeff at all to make a judgment call as to how he would react or feel, but there were rumors (I forget where) that Jeff was more worried about TNA stuff, especially as pertains to his character, than his dying wife. Not to mention the fun rumor of Jeff boinking Dixie.

You're right. But that is the direction I'm inferring from the picture posted, the one you don't like.

I hate to say it, but the passing of Jarrett's wife makes me nervous about Slammiversary (Jeff winning the title out of consolation).

Yes it is, it's like bitching about someone spoiling a HHH/Taka Michinoku match. Batista was the only guy who could realistically win. Hell HTQ called the finish exactly how it went down because... it's that predictable.
-
Like that outcome was really in doubt.

I thought that the comic book people hated how Joker was portrayed in the original Batman movie? I don't know if they would follow that plot point in this reboot. I'm just saying that initially Joker's face should look like a mess. Whether he corrects it or not, is up to the director and writer.

A falls count anywhere for a feud that's barely begun.. A Cage match for a feud that's barely begun... What's the difference? I think people are overthinking everything With falls count anywhere, it makes sense for Cena/Khali with the foot under the rope deal. I don't even like Edge/Batista in a cage either, let alone a HIAC. It should just be a straight up no holds barred match.

I agree with Ripper on this one. If Vick said "Yes, I will be exonerated" then they find him guilty of it, he would look even more of a tool. With the "no comment", he comes out of it looking exactly like what he is, a guy who is being investigated and doesn't know what will happen to him.

Because with a situation like Joker, who got the way he got by falling in chemical, it makes no sense for him to come out of it with a neatly arranged look. He should come out all blotchy and messy, as per with chemical burns.
-
The way the offseason has gone, I'm shocked the Patriots didn't bring him in.
-
A Hell in Cell for a feud that has barely begun?
-
Except the out of control look is how Joker SHOULD look.

He came a Blazers fan after the relocation to the area.
-
You're welcome.

Once again, Chicago should be on the horn right now to see what it would take to get Randolph. He gives them a low post scorer, Portland doesn't exactly need him anymore. It works for both teams. No it doesn't work for Chicago. Randolph would not want to play for Skiles.

Oh come on. Talking about the Rockets as if they wouldn't win if Jordan was around is one thing, but to discredit any player that came after Jordan retired is ridiculous. Should NBA shut itself down with his retirement?

what's the word on him? a shot in the dark? as good as Yao? potential to be better than Yao? don't believe the hype? I read somewhere today that they think he's actually 22 and not the 19 that he claims he is. If so, he goes from top 5 pick to project first rounder. The biggest knock against him is how raw and inconsistent his game is. Not a problem for someone 19... different story for someone 22. Really, the Bulls needs a big man scorer. Who else is going to be there at 9 that fills that need? 22 or 19 or whatever his age is, he has promise as a scorer.

what's the word on him? a shot in the dark? as good as Yao? potential to be better than Yao? don't believe the hype? He's supposedly more of a KG/Dirk type than a Yao type. of course, so was Darko. You're always taking a risk on unproven (in the US) international talent no matter how good they look, but he's as good a pick as any for Chicago. Exactly. If he pans out to be anywhere near as good as Dirk, that'd be a great benefit to Chicago. That's if he played like Dirk as a PF, not Dirk as the SG like Dirk tried to in the playoffs.
-
Hmm, the Bulls should pick that Chinese center.
-
Wow I never have that problem. You probably need to vary your pitch selection. Make them bite no matter what.

Well yeah, to set up Candice as a real threat to the title before Melina either beats her in the title match or loses the title to her. -
If you're upset as a person in the radio industry, that's fine. I do see your point, but I took your comments to be just a way to bash Ozzie again as a Cubs fan. My apologies.
