What assault case? In any event, Vick has been shitting the bed for years now. It was time to cut loose on him, but they kept him too long, and now they're seeing the consequences for it. (And so Ripper doesn't try to make a case for Vick's on-field achievements, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about him as the face of the franchise.)

You know what the real problem is? All year long, they spend their time advertising and hyping a certain few teams. And when they don't appear in the postseason or make a deep run there, the fans are conditioned to think that the real good teams are gone and all that's left are lucky flukes or "boring" teams with no fanbase.

Plus with Psych, it's a basic detective comedy like Monk, albeit with different "talents". You can create tons of different cases to be used as a basic subplot along with the major ones. They have no reason to be cancelled. And yes, Dule Hill does rule.
