Punting Marty Schottenheimer/Cam Cameron/Wade Phillips for Norv Turner is going to hurt the Chargers more than not bringing in Keyshawn Johnson. One of the reasons they cut Keenan McCardell was because they wanted to go younger. How progressive would it be to sign a guy only a few steps behind McCardell in age?

who is a TE. Do you see me mentioning their TEs? Is Keyshawn a TE? Why don't we just mention LT as well since he catches passes but isn't a WR when the point I'm trying to make is that they have no WR corp? Do you even understand how the Chargers play football? They don't need the 200 WRs that the Patriots so insecurely felt they needed. They are fine with what they have because they will only send 3 at the most on the field, and they will do fine enough jobs that they don't need Keyshawn Johnson. McCardell was cut. Vincent Jackson will break out this year after showing promise last season. Then they have Craig Davis out of LSU and someone else they took later in the draft (who could very well be a Colston type steal), and they have Eric Parker who catches balls when he has to. The Chargers was never built around 4 WR sets or anything like that, since most of the passes went to LT or like cheech said, Gates. They are more than fine in that department. They don't need Keyshawn Johnson.

Just because they don't have Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth doesn't mean they don't have WRs.

Really good idea. We can have the champion not defend his title for 6-8 months. As for me, I'm glad this could mean Taker has to drop the belt soon, because I was not liking him as the champion. To me he's sorta passed to the category where he is better off as the novelty side act rather than the main act.
