I don't think it's fair to call the Rockets undeserving champions. You set out to win the NBA title every year. It's not like the other teams should stop trying when Jordan called it quits. As for the Rockets being too much for the Bulls, if that's true, why did they only win 2 titles, when the Bulls were at their weakest?

Back to the present, who shall win the Jazz/Rockets game tonight? There's a bit of controversy of Yao saying that the Jazz could win in Houston but that they (The Rockets) had no shot in Utah.

Warriors vs Suns would be great. And if Warriors won that, they should be the favorites to win the NBA title, no matter who the East sends out (because they'd have beaten the #1 and #2 team en route).

We'll see. Chicago has a lot going for them- they've beaten Detroit 3 out of 4 in the season and had a tougher warm-up sweep series in the first round. I can't envision how Detroit would be ready for the drastic increase in competitiveness from Orlando to Chicago. Chicago on the other hand, experienced a tough draw in Miami, which I think will help them in understanding what to do to down Detroit, and then NJ/Toronto/Cleveland in the conference finals. I don't see them being eliminated until the conference finals or NBA finals.

Have you even seen him? He can't run that fast... or well. Tim Tebow was doing all the running, or most of it, for Florida last year. His strong suit is the passing, and he's not going to be that good on the NFL level, I think.

I have to agree. I know it's early but I wouldn't be surprised to see Oakland make that leap that we see a sucky team do each year. I am confident Kiffin will get more out of Mike Williams. I'm not sure about McCown being the starting quarterback though. He proved to have flashes of brilliance with Arizona, but what kind of offense is Kiffin planning to implement? Do you know, Banky? Sass?

That advantage a certain few people here said Detroit would enjoy in the 2nd round is nonexistent. Bulls match pace and sweep the Heat. Good effort by Ben Wallace to sort of make a moot point out of fouling him in the fourth quarter.
