Cabbageboy, if you're going to say Austin had a supporting cast that didn't make him a "clear cut main eventer" (a stupid argument), then you have to say the same thing about Hogan, with Andre, Savage, Piper, etc around him in the 80s, then Flair, Hart, HBK, etc in the early 90s.
