Hardly the beatdown (which I think would constitute a choke on the level people here claim it to be) some people would have you believe.

I don't think the Falcons will get there. I strongly believe the two WC teams are going to be the loser of Carolina/Tampa divisional struggle and Dallas. Dallas's choking is overrated. The first year was bad, but they did lose to the team that beat the 18-0 Patriots eventually. I doubt that's really a choke in retrospect. I think Dallas would beat Arizona. Especially with healthy Romo this time around. Carolina and Tampa are iffy, but their defenses are strong enough to keep the high flying offense in semi-check.

Which bowl is played on Boise's field? They could invite Ball State to come play ball with them.

I don't think anyone is really creaming their pants over a 7-3 team this year.

If Ball State is forced to go to Motor City Bowl, I don't see any reason for the MAC to continue to exist as a FBS conference. If they are not going to respect an undefeated team from there, how far can anyone there go?

Looking at wikipedia, it says the game has the MAC/Big Ten/Big East (if Big Ten doesn't have any eligible teams left) tie in, but nothing about MAC champions requiring to go. But since the MAC champion usually rate in middle of the pack as far as bowl eligible teams go, that's where they usually go.

That's why they should get rid of those "commitments". Even the Rose Bowl needs to get over the Pac-10/Big Ten traditional pairing. Let the season decide who goes where.
