That would just make him look like a bitter man who's upset because nobody likes him. -
Bedard, Cabrera and Loewen should be halfway decent at least.

I want A-Rod on the White Sox. I admit that much.

I'm fine with them trying something. I'm not as fine with them in mocking gimmicks designed to either mock the older guys like Savage or to make the guy something he's not. How people here doesn't see that... I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah I always figured she was in her late 20s-early 30s when she started in WWE, which was quite a while ago.

It doesn't really matter anyways. Ultimately I see it being up to Taker, and he's not exactly generous in his choices. -

I don't want it used on Batista or Orton. And I see you didn't get my "Its not a real sport" point. -

Well I'm in the camp that the business is a give and take one. Taker has been taking it for years, 15 to be exact assuming he wins this Sunday. Pro wrestling does not work like real sports where something that impressive is meant to be prided on. It's a worked sport where a guy for 15 years has decided "Ok Taker wins this match. Taker wins this match. Taker wins this match." and so on. Are you telling me that if Taker retired 15-1, it'd downplay the entire streak and his career? People can still be impressed that he lasted that long, but like regular undefeated streaks, they should always be ended at one point, and the way it is used to be ended, could potentially send a midcarder/upper midcarder in an entirely new stratosphere and give the company a legitimate main eventer with a snap of the fingers. This is a business, and that is the best business move. -

I would rather them do Edge vs Taker next year. It writes itself more. I'm a big proponent on Taker's streak being used as a rub to put someone over. Batista just happens to NOT be that guy. -
Silly me, I thought Jay Lethal could have been a major star in the X-division.

So will Petrino be the next coach Vick kills?

Yeah give it to the 40+ year old injury prone guy with no interest in wrestling... GENIUS! -
Yeah, definitely Landry or even a DT to go along with Tommie Harris. I do see Bears taking a QB in the later rounds like Chris Leak or Jordan Palmer.
-
I'm not trying to claim Grossman is better than Favre. Favre's career gives him more of a pass to do whatever he wants, and he does try his hardest to win games, which I have to admit I can't say the same for Grossman. I don't see the Bears making it back to the Super Bowl in any event, especially with Briggs being all gung ho about wanting out, so they'd have to break a new LB in his spot which would make more work for Brian Urlacher and co. But to say that the quarterback position is so sorely lacking that it needs to be immediately fixed with the SIXTH PICK OVERALL, is just really... well, silly. Besides I don't even think Quinn's going to be on the board by the sixth pick, so they are stuck with Grossman either way. As for Carr, I'd welcome that, as long as either Orton or Griese left by then.
-
I don't want to turn this into another GB vs Chicago argument, but what the hell are you talking about? Grossman threw TWO more picks than Favre, and served up FIVE more TDs than Favre. Favre also split TD/INT ratio at 18/18 while Grossman had more TDs than INTs at 23/20.
-
People forget it's the defense that makes the Chicago Bears who they are. Their good to average to mediocre to horrid offense is just the icing anyways.

UFC has had the top PPV buys of all American PPVs except for Mania. It could definitely happen.

I still think that while Taker will win at Mania, Batista will get the belt back as soon as Backlash. -
I actually like Jenna in her Office get up. More toned down.

First of all, it was a hypothetical question. Second of all, if Green Bay could have success with a guy who sling passes in a crowd of defenders, then I think Chicago will be fine with Rex Grossman for now. I would add that I don't want to see them draft Quinn. Like you said, he's the next Rick Mirer. I'd rather they get someone else this year, and if Rex stinks it up, let him walk in the offseason and get a QB next year like Brian Brohm or Colt Brennan.
-
That's MVP. Something about a house show having a roof burst and it rained during their match.
-
AoO, question for you, since you're saying you'd like to see Quinn taken by Chicago. How would you see them dealing with the contract situations of both Quinn and Grossman? They won't sign Quinn to a short-term deal (4 years or so will be the shortest I see them offering), and say Rex lights it up, they get themselves into the San Diego situation all over again, where they have to let go Grossman anyways or stunt Quinn's growth.
-
No way. They won't get Quinn with that pick. God knows they'll be drafting all defense again this year.
-
I know she was being sarcastic, I just wanted to take the time to use Al's line again. Since not a lot of people get it.
