Yeah Suns had trouble with the Wolves, but nope, the superior Bulls won't be any problems at all.

Honestly, IMO, if someone's going to get stereotyped or fucked over by Russo, better that it's Tanahashi than someone I actually dig like Nakamura. Too bad not everyone can echo that sentiment. I like Tanahashi myself and I'm not happy with this. I'd actually much rather Nakamura do this, seeing he was just doing his "tour" of the world. NWA/TNA was a logical stop along the way.

The Season 2 Christmas episode.

You know what shocked me today? Finding out Justin Morneau had won the AL MVP. What the hell did he do to win it?

If Jim downplayed his feelings, then yeah I could see Karen just hoping for the best and going along with it.

Someone asked the question if people would feel too loyal to the real teams. I'd be one of them. This is one of the reasons I couldn't get into Blitz: The League. I don't want to play as the Miami Sharks or the Los Angeles Stars or whatever. I want to play as Chicago Bears or the San Diego Chargers.

Probably not because they never had the traditional ring in Orlando. Ever since the first Impact on FSN, they've used the 6 sided ring, and I don't think they'll want to put the Nashville Fairgrounds on Spike TV. Also the traditional ring is no longer a selling point for TNA. Why showcase something then say "Well now we have SIX SIDED RINGS!"? I'd say they're better off forgetting everything that happened pre-FSN.

They said it would be a X division star hiring Shelley. edit: nevermind, the wording trapped me.

Like I said earlier, I think if Cowboys hires a head coach out of the Chicago organization, it's going to be Rivera, because the only thing they would have to worry about is the $ (for a new contract), as Rivera becomes a free agent at the end of the Super Bowl.
-
Yeah, they raely show any early footage from their time in Tennessee, which is sad but you gotta move on. This will be loaded with their gimmick matches, but just another step closer to the Big Time. I was referring to the Six Sides Of Steel Match they had, not the original. As far as "visible stars" are concerned, three of the four are still highly visible. They could easily show that match and talk about how AMW went from TNA's franchise team only to break up, and now Harris might be out of wrestling thanks to his "good friend" (in storyl;ine terms). It's not like I suggested they show a match between Kid Kash and Jorge Estrada. Don't get me wrong. I knew you were referring to that match where Triple X had to break up if they lost, and was highlighted by Skipper's cagewalk rana. I still think they'd pick something a bit more... current. Styles vs Abyss would be a very fine choice.

Oh no, I think Dallas would prefer to hire Rivera instead, seeing he has no deal after this Super Bowl, as opposed to Lovie, who's still under contract.

2 charged with creating panic in Boston

What? Who wants Lovie at that price? I'd agree the Bears should go for it, but only if they promoted Ron Rivera in his stead.
-
Why would they show AMW vs XXX when Elix Skipper isn't even a featured star in TNA? Isn't the point of the special to showcase who is being pushed or at least VISIBLE on TNA NOW?
-
If I had $700 I would bet on the Bears, Vasher for both. Even though it's Devin Hester doing the returns?

It's generally a good idea to get people to pay to see the payoff to a tease, especially one that revolves around the main event of your next PPV, rather than give it to them for free. I'd agree if they hadn't made it so damn obvious it was going to be Steiner. If they had done what they have been doing with the balantly obvious Steiner tease and then revealed it to be like Chris Jericho, then I'd say they were complete morons. This way, it may not be so bad since people already know Steiner is nuts and it was just becoming WAY too obvious it was Steiner. The surprise factor was already gone. It's slightly stupid but not the usual blow of the load stupid they have been doing. While I could agree, I do have to point out that even though there wasn't much of an element of surprise in the revelation, they could have still milked it for some few stupid marks who couldn't figure it out's money.

It's Russo. Steiner will reveal that Angle went into the US Olympics team over Steiner and he resents Angle for it.
-
Oh Steiner was the secret. Nevermind my last post then.
-
I don't understand. This is the secret?
-
Exactly. If they went with teases, we'd have had Batista vs JBL for the belt instead of Batista vs HHH.

A woman in Oakland is claiming he slapped, choked and sexually assaulted her.
-
I'd be fine with all the Grossman stuff if it meant him being extra motivated to go insane in the Super Bowl and just annihilating the Colts' defense.
-
And didn't he NC Christian or something?

I thought the show was good. It didn't really reveal too much, but rather set up the premise for the series with the two main characters taking over the show, and constructed the relationship they have with the network bosses and the crew. I'll definitely be watching to see where they go with all this. Anyone else watch?

I would like Chicago to take a WR to eventually replace Muhammad, but it isn't our greatest priority.
