I doubt she'd actually be there, but if she was, I'd be at loss of words.
-
Yeah, I'd take that 50/50 chance over the 0% chance everyone is giving him due to the comments.

He was telling Marvin that he was backing the wrong horse in Baltimore, so there's irony in that statement when HIS OWN TEAM is not even in the playoffs.
-
I thought you liked Farmar?

You know, I have to say this now. Yes, the Packers game is always important. But I don't see how people think that Rex Grossman is going to take the same attitude of a "meaningless" Week 17 game as he would a PLAYOFF game. I'm betting Rex overcompensates for those comments, which can only mean one of the two things: a great performance as they beat down Seattle again or Rex overthinks again and this causes a loss.

Not that I enjoy Marvin's Ravens posts, but at least his horse is still running. Yours is in the stable now, waiting for next year.

How does how a Viking lineman performs affect Seattle's run game?
-
Predictions: Indy, New Orleans, Chicago and San Diego.
-
Try McNair/Rivers II.
-
I'm interested to see how New England/San Diego pans out, seeing last time they met, San Diego ended NE's home winning streak.
-
New York Jets 24, New England Patriots 20 Kansas City Chiefs 17, Indianapolis Colts 31 New York Giants 28, Philadelphia Eagles 21 Dallas Cowboys 35, Seattle Seahawks 41

Yeah I'm not feeling it either. Though I do dislike musicals to begin with...
-
Well wasn't he an office guy to begin with before they dusted him off and put him on the field? I remember he was like the director of something in a department for the Raiders.

I think it's also about the statistics as much as it is about how valuable you are to the team. LT wouldn't have won if he hadn't broken the record for points scored or TDs scored, led the league in rushing. Same thing with Brees. If he pulled the same numbers he did in San Diego for New Orleans and still lead them to a 10-6 record, he wouldn't really have as much of a chance, if any, to win.
-
It's not like baseball, where you can vote for multiple guys. I'm surprised BREES got as many votes as he did. I thought it might be unanimous this year. It's the opposite for me. I was surprised Brees only got 4 votes. I was expecting like 15-20 votes for Brees. And anyone who's griping about a middling QB not getting a vote needs to take off their purple and gold and black glasses.

Just watch the ending to Mania 13, and you have it.

You mean tombstoned.

It was funny. I talked to Damaramu the other night. He is so convinced Michigan would beat USC, despite the fact USC outranked Michigan in every offensive category except rushing. It'll be fun to see USC kick some Wolverine ass. Oh and Boise State over OU too. yeah okay...if UCLA front 7 teed off on USC...what will the best front 7 in the nation do? Not a damned thing, apparently.

Well your paraphrasing was too broad, as if it would include basketball and baseball and etc, which led Cuban Linx to chip in with the Portland thing. I made sure to mention that he was talking about football primarily.
-
If that's true then the Portland Trailblazers of the last few years should have been the best team of all time. Isiah Rider, Rasheed Wallace, Damon Stoudamire, Ruben Patterson, Zach Randolph, Darius Miles, Sebastian Telfair, Qyntel Woods, can't get much more 'competitive edge' than that bunch. Actually his argument was only for football as he cited Ohio State with Maurice Clarett and Nebraska with Lawrence Phillips. And he really said that when you play a violent sport like football, it helps to have players on the cusp/edge of law because they are violent.

Question: Will Nate Morton, WR of Wake Forest, be a good NFL prospect, and if so, will he be drafted? If so, where do you guys see him being drafted to?
-
Who cares which conference is better. It's about the teams themselves as Boise State would prove.
-
Also in matching possessions, it rewards both a good offense and a good defense.... or punishes the bad offenses/defenses.
-
I wish the Bears would hire a better offensive coordinator than a failed college coach.

What the networks should do is set aside an extra 30 minutes per game in case it goes longer than expected. Really, NFL is much more popular than what they usually show afterwards which are either infomercials, 60 Minutes, etc.
