To the Astros fans, all I have to say is this: Thanks.

Major TNA Impact spoiler from PWInsider

What they could do, and it could appeal to guys like Star Ocean, is have Joe win at next year's Slammiversary in one-on-one match, and have a high profile defense vs someone like Goldberg at BFG. Though I do agree that Joe needs to win the strap at their #1 event, so yeah. -
I actually prefer #3.
-
You can turn them off, hasbeen. It's in your options.
-
No, I think O'Haire was going to be built up as a future star, but Goldberg was going to beat Steiner for the belt at Starrcade, I think.
-
Is this more to your liking?
-
In reference to my prior post about it not being that great of news, I meant that WWE could just easily look at the rating breakdown and go "Well there's why the rating went up, because of Edge/Orton's involvement!" Yes the show was better than last week, but this week was main evented by a Raw vs ECW tag team match. Who do you honestly think Vince, Steph, and whoever else is going to spin the number for? Remember last week it was because Cena was "promoted" for the show.
-
IGN gave this a 7.2. Not really an exciting rating, but from the review they gave, it sounds like something I'd really enjoy, so I'm probably picking it up tomorrow.
-
Or it's argued that the WWE guys did it for the overrun. Not that great of news when you think about it.
-
Taker really shouldn't win the title at this point with his errant schedule, though it's not like the belt means anything anymore anyways.
-
I will take this time to thank Iggymcfly for jinxing it for Dallas with his "guarantees". Thanks a lot.
-
I hope so. I'd really really would like Dallas to win just so I can see Cuban laugh maniacally at Stern as he hands him the trophy. Well and because the players deserve it.
-
If that's the real Dallas Mavericks, we might as well send the champagne to Miami. Sucks because I wanted Dallas to win.
-
Even if they win tonight, there's that little matter of... Game 7. It can go either way then.
-
Explains why it says it's for the arcade.

Goldberg vs Hogan was given away for free on Nitro. And from what I've read, it was practically a last minute decision to do so (it was announced on the Thunder prior). Hardly a fair comparison. -
Nah, I think they're going to go 5 vs 3, and still go man vs woman until one team has been completely eliminated then compete internally.

Well after the season, I traded KG (too expensive) for a 1st rounder, and since Eddie Griffin became productive (rated 82 at the end of the first season), it was a win-win. I used the two draft picks to draft a SF and a C, who turned into 90+ players each (the SF was said to be similar to Ron Artest and the C Yao Ming). I simmed a few seasons without saving just to see how the future looks, and we ended up winning 3 NBA titles in 6 years (making the playoffs each time). My created PG ended up outscoring Dwyane Wade in his career at the same point, and I was only about a few thousand points behind a 5 years older Kobe Bryant. Needless to say I was probably headed for the HoF. I kept Rashad McCants as my starting SG all these years but for some reason his ceiling was very strong, as he only maxed out at 84 by age 30. My starting 5 after Year 6: PG- CAP (Tyler Law)- rated 99 SG- Rashad McCants- rated 84 SF- Alex Olson (draft pick)- rated 95 PF- Eddie Griffin- rated 83 C- Darin Owens (draft pick)- rated 98 Top Bench players: PG Sebastian Telfair SG J.R. Smith SF James Jones -
She is?

Interesting show tonight.

I don't see what Edge got to be mad about. At least this means Edge won't be dominated by HHH all feud long.
-
Did the original Garfield movie even make good enough money for a sequel to be made?
-
I'm not speaking from a personal viewpoint. I read it somewhere that that was how TNA felt about Monty. He refused to take extra bookings and that showed TNA that he wasn't willing to improve. Then there's that training business he has, that TNA thinks he prioritizes over wrestling. When a company feels that way, they are going to cool off on your push.
-
Odd how after the HHH feud, they shifted gears on Cena going from "We gotta expose Cena and make him out to being a lucky fluke underdog champion" to having him be as protected as Austin/Hogan.
-
Actually agree. I like the Mavericks but they seem to be getting set to blame losing the Finals on the refs. That's not an attitude you want to have heading home with only 1 more loss knocking you off in two opportunities.
