I came in here to say that I really hate the saying "This is a must-win game... (team) by (score)." The Super Bowls are must win games but someone always gotta lose those. Just because something is a must win for a team, doesn't mean they always rise to that occasion. That said, phooey to Cabbageboy's seemingly anti-Porter predictions once again; Chicago 31, Green Bay 24 with Orton but Green Bay 38, Chicago 17 with Grossman.

I'll take John Krasinski.

No. I was referring to last year. Though losing to Oregon State this year on the road is probably better than losing to Ole Miss at home.
-
If USC got wrecked for losing to Stanford, Florida should for Ole Miss.

Forte's having a season that everyone expected from a rookie that's expected to be the new franchise back, but isn't that standout like Peterson or Johnson.

Going back to the CAW thing, I wonder what they'd do if you wrestled just as like this super balanced wrestler who wasn't weak in any area. Would you be a super wrestler or would you just end up being something average?

Should I be proud of the fact that against the only undefeated team left in the league, people have to take pause in whether REX GROSSMAN could topple them or not?

I can't find the MLB predictions thread that I thought existed, but here's a thread that shows you how little faith people had in the White Sox: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...t=0&start=0 You can't tell me that the White Sox did not vastly outperform what people in that thread was expecting. And you're lying if you are actually trying to tell me that people were calling for the White Sox to place better than Minnesota. Flat out lying. But it doesn't matter. Ozzie could lead the White Sox to a 173-0 record en route to a perfect season and a World Series championship, and people will try to find a way to give the MOTY to Ron Gardenhire. Guy just gets more leeway for no reason other than because Twins compete year in and year out.

Nothing to do with the actual game of basketball, but Kevin Johnson (yes Ripper's favorite boy) became mayor of Sacramento, California last night.

workers who get called great but you disagree

Are you on crack? How can you possibly look at Misawa's career and not consider him great? He was on top of AJPW when they were putting on some of the best matches of all time, week in and week out. He had great matches, he was in what is probably the greatest feud of all time, he drew a ton of money...in what category is he NOT great? He isn't American. -
Like I alluded to, I think they're more going to re-try the original intent of that 2002 storyline, which is that Stephanie is cheating on HHH with the champion Jericho.

I'm sorry guys, the more I read people here name Ron Gardenhire MOTY candidate, the less I take the entire thread seriously. The fact is, you guys just WON'T recognize the actual best manager of the Central this year. Let's see here: Ron Gardenhire- People here picked his team to compete for the Central, either finishing second to Cleveland or finishing first. Ended up finishing second on the 163rd day, basically living up to people's expectations. Has two MVP level players on the team in Mauer and Morneau. Both played most of the season. Ozzie Guillen- Picked to finish 4th or dead last in the Central. Ended up winning the division on the 163rd day, exceeding preseason expectations. Has only one MVP level player (a guy who just emerged as that this year) in Quentin. If Quentin was still around, do you guys seriously think Gardenhire would have had that chance to win the 163rd game? Doubtful. I'm not here to say that Ozzie should win the award, that award should go to either Maddon or Scioscia (sp?), but Gardenhire should be nowhere on that ballot if Guillen isn't.

If it's true they are building to yet another Stephanie/Jericho "alliance", it'd be weird to see the WWE try to push the Stephanie/Jericho potential adultery storyline not once, but twice. Maybe Stephanie has something real going on for Jericho.

I guess people don't realize that the BCS WILL put USC in if they can. It doesn't matter if they should or not, if there are no undefeated teams to put in, one of the two teams will be USC for sure (assuming they win out, which I doubt). But go ahead, keep trying to convince yourselves that the voters have zero bias towards USC.

Honestly, who cares whose blowouts are more impressive? Penn State is going to win out. That takes care of one NC spot, leaving one spot for maybe 5-7 one loss teams to fight out over. Any team that gets it will deserve it.

Claude Rains.

I'll take Bela Lugosi here.

After meeting the mother? Perhaps alter the premise to be about the relationship between the two as they blossom into the parental couple that the kids know them now to be?

They already have one.
