I will say that I will admit whoever gets sent to Tampa out of the Central will get murder/death/kill'd.
-
I guess I was stuck in 2006 when the Tigers were pretty good. My bad, folks. Hard for me to follow AL Central all the way out here in San Diego.
-
I'm speaking talent wise, not performance wise. But holy hell, I didn't realize Detroit was below KC. I might have to retract that statement a bit.
-
Better than Anaheim? They are 30-16 against the East. I'm pretty sure if they were aligned into the division, they'd hold their own.
-
Really? I'd like to see that. If that's true, then sorry for your damn luck, guys.

WWE General Discussion - September 2008

I just can't stand to watch him in the ring I suppose. And those 'brutal' shoulders to the mid section when he has his opponent in the corner? amazing. I still can't figure out how in the blue hell he got over. At least Cena is somewhat entertaining to watch in the ring.... He has the drug-enhanced body to pull off the battering ram gimmick. The problem is he was mostly only over from one program and failed to follow it up. The Taker Wrestlemania program revived him a bit, but he just fell off again. -
The problem with this is that probably 4 of the top 5 teams in the AL play in the East. Really, I'd take the top 4 teams in the AL East over any team in baseball except for the Angels and Cubs (and maybe the Phillies). No one's going to call the season the White Sox or Twins had 'miserable', but they'll finish with worse records than the Yankees (are barely better than Toronto). The Yankees are 21-19 against Central opponents. Hardly the domination you think. I'd rate Chicago, Minnesota, Cleveland and even Detroit comparable to Yankees and Blue Jays, even if the records don't show that. Boston and Tampa though? Miles ahead of the Central. Same for Angels.

And for the money they spent, you don't want to miss the playoffs. I don't think it's the 89 wins that is miserable, it's finishing 3rd in the division.

Funny, I actually like his Batista bomb better than the traditional pinning variation of the sit-out bomb. Well at least when he was doing it more with a snap to it. Lately he's just been awful with it. -
Well that's normal for you. Yeah I just checked imdb, they quit the business right after the show ended, and decided to lead "normal" kid lives.
-
What about those twin boys? How are they doing?

MLB caters to East coast fans more often than not, shut up Czech.

Obviously Jim will get overly jealous when that dude from college gets too friendly with Pam for his comfort. It will lead to fights and lack of hilarity will ensue.

The difference between Steve Austin and Kurt Angle is that Kurt Angle is in fact a gold medalist wrestler, which is why Jingus said people would buy him as a legit badass more often than not. Of course Steve Austin wouldn't get over doing the goofy stuff before establishing himself as the DTA Stone Cold character, because he had to build that credibility from scratch. Kurt Angle came in with some already. Which is what I assume Jingus's argument is. So to use Austin as a counterpoint is a losing argument. A better one would be Brock Lesnar or Ken Shamrock or Dr. Death Steve Williams, all guys that came in the company with a certain credibility. Because then you can argue that doing comedy would hurt those characters.

I also think it's bullshit, but hilarious, that Georgia dropped behind USC. Guess losing to Oregon State is more impressive than losing to now #3 Alabama.
-
But the guy who put the defense that allowed 22 points or so in one quarter gets to be the next head coach?
-
And to finish my director pool, Frank Capra
-
Why is LSU #2 instead of Alabama? That's sort of bullshit.

There goes that undefeated season for me.

That's true VX. Really, I wasn't ready to have kids, but since I don't support abortion, I had to man up and take responsibility. No play without pay, right? -

Who looks like who? People say my son looks like me and my daughter looks like her mother, but both have the reverse body types (he of a stockier frame and her of a skinnier frame). -

At least you've got a good head on yourself, that you don't want to involve a child into that lifestyle. Go you. -

Yes, Southern California. That offer is appreciated. And compliments as well from those who paid some towards my kids. -
