Pretty sure they were hoping for the national title game. I predict a Cal-type Holiday Bowl letdown game, especially if they overlook Ohio State.
-
I hope Ohio State beats a deflated Texas.
-
Hosts are apparently allowed. If Conan is disqualified, then to be fair, so should my pick of Rod Serling.
-
Done.

Looks like I'd rather go to the Poinsettia Bowl this year rather than the Holiday.

Yuna_Firerose is now eliminated.

Wonder if Minnesota is kicking themselves in the heads over waiving Tyler Thigpen? Dude looks almost legit. At least more legit than Tarvaris Jackson.

I'll go with the king of observational comedy: Jerry Seinfeld

VX, I said the Packers had no chance because the Bears will be playing that game hard, and with something to prove over the Packers due to that debacle at Lambeau, and they'd have something to play for, hopefully, with a playoff spot at stake. Plus it's at home. Your team seems to have peaked with that win over Chicago, it's all been downhill since. Now I shouldn't have said "no chance", but it isn't looking too good for the Packers.
-
I picked Oklahoma. I guess they were underdogs. Don't listen to Dama, OU is actually a good team and people respect them. Right. Let's ignore all your other dumb predictions like USC losing to UCLA, Florida losing to Alabama, etc etc.
-
Heh, if you can't beat HOUSTON at home, you stand no chance in Chicago. Guess you just have to look forward to next year.
-
While it sucks that Detroit couldn't upset Minnesota, I'm glad it looks like Bears will stay within a game and that the Packers are now 2 games behind Chicago and 3 behind Minnesota. If the Bears don't win the division, I don't want the Packers winning it either.

Guess ESPN's attempt to create a split title with USC looks to be in vain.
-
What prediction? You just went against the grain for every game or picked against the powerhouse teams. GENIUS!
-
Congratulations CanadianChris. You definitely needed that win against me.

Kilroy is late. Zoo is up.

So over that most wondered why James Storm was teaming up with Robert Roode instead of trying out a singles push. Forget it. You like Robert Roode. It shows.
-
The reason why it's such a cliche is because it's often true. When you have what is originally a makeshift team, it's usually to have the lesser talented guy benefit from teaming with the better talent, whether it's to leech the heat, or to learn something in the ring from, or whatever reason. Jeff Jarrett jobbed to Robert Roode because he was not ready to return. You say Roode is protected... well that's true, but so what? It doesn't make him any more talented or better. It just makes him protected, because TNA is intent on getting Roode over, and has for a good few years. The fact he only gets some heat when he's feuding with a new WWE castoff (a popular one in Booker) or teaming up with what just might be the best underutilized worker in TNA today tells me no one cares about him on a level that you seem to think/want/hope for. And yes for the record, Alex Shelley is in fact carrying Chris Sabin as far as charisma and mic ability goes. Eric Young was able to get better reactions as a pure cowardly face (which is usually a death knell for a guy's career) than Robert Roode was as a serious heel with "protection". I don't even like Eric Young, but to claim that people only cared about him when he was feuding with Roode is just untrue.
-
This is true. The promoter, or the owner in WWE's case, should have full control over his locker room. It's not good for business to have your wrestlers going against your wishes.
-
You can't say nobody cared about Super Eric and in the same vein try to act like people care about Robert Roode. No they don't. He's not that good. James Storm's awesomeness is the only reason Beer Money is worth watching. Subtract James Storm from the equation and you have a midcard act pretending to be anything more than that. Why do you think people want to see James Storm elevated as a singles wrestler and not Robert Roode? I wonder...
-
Act=/=say. Making that joke implies such.
-
Everyone likes to hold on to the "prop". Stop acting like Bret's the worst offender. Only the Rock can make a case for not caring if he has it or not.
-
No. Booker T: His current heel run is better than the Roode feud. Eric Young: Super Eric is better than the Roode feud. Traci Brooks: Who cares?
