USC Wuz Robbed!

I watched up til a little bit after the first series of the 2nd half. It was a good game but I decided sleep was a bit more important, and that I would catch the replay for the rest of the game, as I'm interested in continuing.

The score/outcome doesn't exactly reflect the game. Vincent Young was running over Michigan all game long. In my eyes, that was a kill. Michigan just hung on til the bitter end. And just so everyone is aware, I HATE THAT A FUCKING NON PAC-10/Big 10 TEAM WON THE ROSE BOWL IN A NON-TITLE YEAR!!! I will never forgive Michigan for that.

The way the White Sox have been playing lately, the Yankees killing them is entirely NOT out of question.

Oh right. Why is it that out of the 200-400 deaf people I know, only 5 people of that group has the ability to speak? There is a reason they're stereotyped as being unintelligible speakers. The difference is... I'm speaking of the people that became deaf at a very very early age or was born that way. The ones that can speak well is very rare. I know this, because I've hung out with a lot of deaf people, seeing I was in a deaf program in elementary school. My speaking ability was what allowed me to be integrated into a hearing-only environment. Those people you just named likely learned to speak before being stricken and thus they're able to continue on speaking fine. Don't tell me that I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, I'm not some idiot on the internet that claims to know everything about everything, but let me tell you with some confidence, when it comes to knowing deaf people, I think I know what I'm talking about.

I actually saw the game. And I admit I am an USC mark so I might be biased but I think USC had a better game than either OU or LSU. That could be attributed to the level of competition, and I'm not saying LSU didn't deserve the title. They did, but to say USC didn't is ridiculous. LSU might have won the "official" championship, but USC seemed to have impressed the OTHER HALF enough for them to vote them #1 over BOTH LSU and OU. If only the game was LSU/USC...

So I can speak for myself. Personally I prefer the term, "Hard of hearing" than "hearing impaired" or "deaf". Though I have to be honest and say I'm a rare exception to the rule, and what you said about the majority of them is largely true...

He listed 3 reasons why Shawn Michaels was the most hated man. He listed reason 2 as Shawn beating Taker in the cell. I pointed out that he HAD to win, thus that was an invalid reason to hate him.

That's total bullshit. USC has as much claim to the title as LSU did. They dismantled the #4 team in Michigan at Rose Bowl while LSU struggled to beat an injured Jason White. The media found it fit to call USC the champions. Don't ever fucking downplay their accomplishments. The wrong team went into the Sugar Bowl and it was proven in the Rose AND Sugar Bowl.

Yeah really, I'm getting tired of the steroids talk. Can't we just focus on the fucking game of baseball?
