    UPN Bans Hassan Permanently

That's why I temporarily thought that the WWE was working the internet again with the whole ban, but UPN would never go along with the work.

    The NFL Offseason/Pre-Draft Thread

It's not like Owens's going to play anyways. I don't see either sides budging on the issue. Walker... well he'll tuck his tail between his legs soon when he realizes Green Bay doesn't care.

Where in my argument did I say they were wrong? You're grasping at straws that aren't even there. I merely attempted to interpret Black Lushus's point, which he apparently approves of. Then I agreed with that interpretation. Clearly debate isn't accepted around this parts however. I have just determined your worth and I will deal with you accordingly. Don't bother posting a response directed to me because as of the minute this post is posted, you won't exist to me. Good day, Y2Jerk.

If you honestly didn't get my point, then I was being serious. If you've ever made a mistake in your life, you're never allowed to say anything about anyone ever? The internet would shut down tomorrow! Besides, since the guy who wrote the article isn't the one who runs ESPN, your complaint is invalid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's owned by ESPN. They clearly approve, as they posted it on their site. In my example, with the WWE writing, obviously the writer doesn't run WWE. However the point has merit. As for the mistakes.... well, look at it this way: Guy A commits 1 mistake in his lifetime (a stretch I know but work with me here) Guy B commits 24734793847 mistakes. Guy C commits 42384762343 mistakes. Now who's in a better position to rip on the other two? Guy B= ESPN, Guy C= WWE. Guy A= me. That's all there is to it.

That could turn out not to be the case. The PPV company is saying ECW drew more than 300K buys. And they'd know.

I think Black Lushus is saying ESPN's one to talk. They have botched a lot of things themselves. It's like WWE writing an article on how lame ESPN is, when they are lame themselves. And I agree. ESPN should shut the fuck up. Let the one who hasn't sinned cast the first stone.

    Sell me on Carlito

You are saying that because a 1980s wrestler that existed when the Orange Goblin reigned supreme had a push, a 2000s "wrestler" (I can't even bring myself to call him a wrestler outright) deserves a push? You do know times have changed, the fans have smartened up to the scientific wrestling/high flying/brawling, etc. The only reason I can see Carlito getting reactions is because he's not supposed to, so it's taboo in a way.

That's an AWESOMELY good point. The first time I saw Muhhamad Hussan was during a dark match at the 9/27 Raw broadcast. My fellow wrestling fans booed the shit out of him, before he'd ever been on TV doing his "give me title shot because I'm a victim" routine, simply for praying to Allah before the match. I exclaimed very loudly, although no one paid any attention to me, "Why are we booing this?!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because the WWE race-baited the fans. We're programmed to believe anyone who is different than a typical American is a heel. He also said that life was normal for him before 9-11 but after 9-11, he was prejudiced. So why is he playing to the prejudices?

Killing someone should be the new GAB tradition. And this would be better than UT just squashing him. Still think moving him to Raw is the most painless solution, but this is the best idea for getting rid of him. Although, most of the people who support Hassan being "killed off" would also most likely be offended by what you proposed, which is essentially a lynching. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's the point, to offend the people who screwed it up for them. I want Hassan killed off, but not because he offends me, but just because he's annoying. This is the ideal way to do it, the whole locker room hates him. They should have a hand in his demise.

Being a draw means EVERYONE or nearly everyone wants to see you. Let's go over who you seem to think are draws: John Cena: As I've said, he's the closest thing to it, yes, but there are a good number of people who could care less about him (conservatives for example) Eddie Guerrero: Only hispanic people would go see him, but as a heel? Not so much. Rey: Yep, he's a draw for SD in a way, but on a grander scale, no. There's a lot of people who could care less about him. Brock: Where's he? Undertaker: You're kidding me, right? He is like Hogan. They pop for the nostalgia but they won't pay to see him fight. Those lesser extents you mentioned have merit with the exception of: JBL: Remember the "lowest drawing champion in some time" tag attached to him? Yeah I do too. Batista: His "drawing" power will truly be tested this Sunday, that's all I can say.

No one is a draw currently, I agree. People have their reasons for coming to the shows. Some for HHH, some for Batista, some for Cena, and so forth. Collectively though, only Cena I think, is the closest to being a draw, but people I know like Cena but wouldn't want to go out of their way to see him, if that makes sense.

They should have the whole SD locker room come out during the match and drag Hassan out of the ring. Then take him out of the arena. Then right before the main event, air "LIVE!" footage (aka pretaped) of the guys throwing Hassan off the bridge or something.

    Picked up NCAA 2006 today...

I was on Heisman difficulty, but yeah the sliders should be adjusted. I just felt like the season was wasted already because I wanted to do a slow burn towards making the Top 25 polls, like over a few seasons, and I had already gotten in by the 2nd game. I decided to start over as Buffalo, a MAC team. It's much better, as I went from 117th to 99th in one game, which is pretty slow enough. I play Iowa next, so we'll see how that pans out.

Yeah it's not like UPN can't change anything on their OWN network. Vince's the one who has to change.

A personal note: If Hassan does indeed move to Raw, I'd be fucking overjoyed. I've been wanting to stay exclusive to SD, and Hassan has been stopping me from doing so.

I don't see WWE changing a thing in light of this. It's also possible Hassan moves back to Raw as of result of this.

No I mean his genetical look. Not just the gimmick look. I am picky about who I look at. I get easily irritated. I'm strange that way.

True. He had a decent aerial style. I just want to smack him because his look rubs me the wrong way, but that's just me.

    Drew Rosenhaus saves drowning child...

No seriously stop it. You are clueless here man. Do you even realize the toll that playing football takes on a man's body? How old do most football players retire? I'm not talking about the Emmitt Smiths or Jerry Rices either, they are aberrations, exceptions to the rule really. The average NFL career is 3 years long. Yeah, 3 years. So you are goddamn right they should get as much as they can from a business that wrecks their bodies and doesn't care one bit about them throughout the process. When you say things like "make a living playing a game they love" that's all fine and dandy, but don't for one second trivialize the hard work and dedication that it takes to be an NFL player. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They of course....choose...to take the toll. I'm not going to feel sorry for them flaming out in 3 years, because they CHOSE to enter that field of profession. The only sympathy I have is for the fans that's getting their chains jerked around.

    Picked up NCAA 2006 today...

I started a franchise as Northern Cal State, and they had 1 star prestige, and I booked a tough nonconference schedule in hopes of maybe finishing in the top 40 if we went undefeated. We also joined the WAC conference, so we shouldn't get any respect for a while, right? Well after two games of 44-13 and 50-0 (Against Auburn and Michigan) we all of sudden became ranked 18th. I turned off the game after that discovery.

    Drew Rosenhaus saves drowning child...

I think Rosenhaus is probably a decent guy when it doesn't come to his profession. And the Hitler thing was made in jest. Lighten up. My point was that just because he's "doing his job" doesn't and won't stop people from hating him. He is screwing the fanbases around the country by forcing people to watch unnecessary drama between his clients and the teams.
