You know what, HTQ? I apologize. It was silly of me to post that.

I seem to recall a certain HTQ and Downhome that told me, "Hogan can't do the legdrop anymore"..... what happened tonight, guys?
-
Yeah I sure made it up. This is basically saying he, in your opinion, can't do it anymore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never stated that he couldn't do it anymore; just that he couldn't do it in April, and I don't think the situation had changed. I don't know how you read that to mean I was saying he couldn't do the legdrop anymore at all, but maybe further study of grammar will help with this problem you seem to have. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, you see, you were wrong. Yet you just had to make yourself appear better than anyone who disputes your claims. This is my problem with you, but you know what, whatever man, keep the superiority complex up. It really works for ya.

He still drops a leg. That's a legdrop. He did it last night. Hence he does it. He might not do it as frequently, but he did it.

How will next week's Raw/Smackdown draft work?
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Matt Young's topic in The WWE Folder
Be like Foley and hitchhike. -
And by normal, you mean incredible, right? Your dislike of the Cubs has made you blind even to the obvious. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never said he was bad or something. Normal=good but not good enough to suddenly turn around fortunes.

After last night, can we finally end the myth

As HTQ has pointed out many times, putting someone over requires the loser to lose his spot to the guy he put over. HHH isn't going to do such thing. All he is doing is shuffling Batista off to SD so he doesn't have to lose his spot. This is IF Batista does go over to SD. It's still entirely possible that Batista stays on Raw and starts losing to HHH. -

And even if he concedes the spotlight to Batista, it doesn't make up for all the crap he's pulled in the past 4+ years. -

The difference is he says that then PROCEEDS to show why it was just luck, whether by getting the job back/title back or buries them outright. -

Don't be stupid. Shelton? You mean when HHH dismissed the loss to Shelton and then refused to go in the ring with him again, saying he wasn't worth it? Yep good example. Chris Benoit? Oh yeah MIDCARD CHAMPION definitely rules. Batista is fine, but a bit weaker than before Mania, and Goldberg? You mean when HHH beat Goldberg at Armageddon and effectively ended his title reign? -

Only because every time he loses, he either dismisses it as "nothing" or he gets the job back. The only way HHH would have put Batista over is if he is no longer a title contender for a while, which is not going to happen. -
The White Sox needs to win ASAP or the Twins will come back and take AL Central! Seriously though, Prior always does well in his return. He'll return to normal soon.

I think Tom Cruise would say that line to everyone who questioned him. It's not just Matt Lauer.
-
I think Cruise is impotent. Possibly gay too.

Yankees need to also give Colter Bean a shot at being a starter.
-
Shaq knew they would try to re-sign Kobe though. Although I don't think Shaq wanted to be in LA anyways, so whatever.

I believe that the Yankees can turn it around, but it won't happen this year. It just seems to me that this year's team is the kind of team that's real patchwork, as evident with them plugging Womack in the OF. That is obviously a problem, but the most glaring flaw with the Yankees will be with the pitching and defense. The pitching, as you guys have pointed out, isn't very strong, and in conjecture with a weak defense, this just spells disaster. On one hand it's amusing to see the Yankees not do well, on the other, it's getting to the point where watching them is pitiful. This is a team that has made the playoffs every year for a long while, and all of sudden they're in danger of missing out. What the Yankees should do is try to trade away Pavano and Henn for one serviceable starter, call up Graman as Al said, and see how that kind of rotation works. Randy Johnson is still too valuable to the club to just give up on. Granted he is probably going to keep declining but you're still guaranteed at least 10 wins with him, if not more. They also need to remove Womack and plug in a guy from AAA or find some way to move around guys. This is probably a good time for them to do so, because the current set isn't working.

One of the very few times I wouldn't mind Hogan dropping a leg on, brotha! (Yes I detest Carlito)

They need to have JBL spout his "Mr. SD" shit, and then as he is about to leave, Heyman comes down through the crowd. He cuts a promo on JBL about ECW and about how JBL is only the top guy through depletion. No more! As JBL is distracted, BROCK LESNAR comes out and gives JBL a F5 to put an exclamation point on Heyman's promo. They leave together.
-
I can't believe Hogan's agreeing to appear on a show he knows won't have high ratings. He usually tries to protect himself from that kind of thing.

Probably gonna be called Cheaper By The Baker's Dozen

The problem is they can't sustain his momentum. He comes in as a hot heel, gets killed off by Austin, so they turn him. He gets over to a degree, but gets overshadowed by other faces so he turns heel. It's the running theme of his career, he's always overshadowed by someone so he turns as a result.
