What was the last time Rock was on TV?
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to iliketurtles's topic in The WWE Folder
zyn081 or whatever- Rock coming in to put over Cena in a promo AT Wrestlemania would be stupid. Let Cena put himself over with a promo of his own and a win. That's all it takes. -

It wouldn't be a dream match per se, but if he was built up correctly, Christian would have been a good opponent. -
Do you actually enjoy horse racing in general or do you just enjoy that particular game?
-
He has to practice looking as generic as possible for his WWE stint. Like when Foley tested out the claw on ECW opponents before he joined WWF.

Comparing Tyson to Ali is laughable. That's all I have to say on that certain note. The fight went as expected, as I didn't think Tyson had that much in his tank, but goddamn was that a lame finish.

Can't have too many balls these days.

Everything I have heard about Joe and know about Joe would make this worry completly unreasonable. I am sure it is something he is asked about constantly. He may not give you a straight answer but I doubt he will Ole kick you or something. If you want to ask just do it. Joe is one dude I think would be awesome to kick it with. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *Anticipates the backlash when LotC comes back with pictures from the hospital from when Joe mauls him.* In all seriousness, everyone here who echoed the sentiment that Joe's cool, I'll echo it further. He is COOL. I met him once back in the parking lot of a PWG show. He doesn't really hide behind kayfabe or anything. Hell he has a livejournal or something, so that should show right off from the start that he is pretty much accessible.... based on his mood, as everyone else, I guess.

Got the game recently. Hated the name Lloyd. Ced- What do you like about Gallop Racer 2004?
-
It goes both ways really. He doesn't do drugs, doesn't drink alcohol, etc.... STRAIGHT EDGE BABY!
-
It's his way of saying he doesn't drink alcohol, that Pepsi is all he needs. Something like that. It's ridiculous really.

What would he have done anyways? The only possible scenarios the way it was set up was for him to come out help Eugene or something similar to that, and really, with Hogan primed for the Backlash one time shot, it wasn't going to be THAT segment. And no, the Rock will NOT return to active wrestling duty. He's pretty much near set as far as financially goes, has a few kids (at least 1), and pretty much likes the idea he doesn't have to be gone 4-5 times a week every week for years. He's done his time, and he deserves the breaks he got, I think. -
Smackdown's main event "pussy" was waiting to be fucked last year, and it was fucked in a different sense of the word.
-
Shh... they're supposed to be tribal, I think...
-
The Pepsi logo one is pretty stupid though. Wouldn't want to go through life with that thing on my arm, even if I understand the intention of him doing it.
-
Then when Punk gets the main event push, HHH will suddenly feel like Punk can't wrestle the WWE style or can't talk too good or some shit like that.
-
Then I doubt Panda'd want the bleeder on their hands very much longer.

If they go back to FSN, would it be for the same kind of deal or would they actually get to air the shows without paying for the time?
-
It is kind of taking a step backwards to go back to FSN. They just left that network. It's not like the WWE returning to USA because WWE had spent years away, so its more fresh for them to return. TNA doesn't have that luxury, and I'm of the mindset that they closed the door behind them, so they need to move forward. Any new TV deals involving the dreaded FSN network is not going to be good enough for me, personally. However, I can see your position that any TV is better than none, but come on, they are totally screwed.
-
I don't know. I would rather them not have gotten TV in the first place, and trying to expand in other ways (like actually drawing their shows instead of comping a good share of them) first. Followed by tours/house show circuit, and if they establish a presence in those areas, that would only be good to increase their success on TV. Now that they have actually blown their expansion load on a network that treats them, rightfully so, like an infomercial, well they might as well take the dog out to the woods and shoot it in the head (hopefully you guys know this as a metaphor and not a literal action. I dont condone animal violence. )
-
They should put Raven in the match, no question about it. However, Styles should retain because he needs to be the guy that starts off the next TV show (if it ever happens) as the champion to put over the "Well our champ is different than theirs" effect (without actually mentioning Batista or Cena or whoever and without mentioning WWE).
-
I realize the risk involved, which is why I said they should get a TV deal soon yes, but not being aired for a while. Maybe sign one with SpikeTV and waiting the Raw contract out, then taking over. That kind of scenario.
-
What TNA should do now that they went dark again is to stay off TV and whatever for a while longer, to wash some of bad stigma they got over the 3 years of being around (JJ's fed, idiotic booking, etc), grab a TV deal with some channel for NEXT YEAR or much later this year (winter), and go totally revamped. New sets, new style, etc, and starting off with the right champion this time (AJ Styles). Just my thought on this situation. It REALLY could be a blessing if they play it right.
-
They don't even draw at home.
-
The Yankees have no defense. They won't hold up.
-
I have no problems with you. I just don't like it when people call others out for it when they do the EXACT same thing themselves. And yes Mayer and Ripper said what I was going to say. It matters that Barry hit those 3s because if he didn't, take those 3s away and the result would be closer. Same with Peyton's 4 TDs, if he didn't throw them, they sure as hell wouldn't win. Those players are important to the team's success, and when people say that, it doesn't lessen the team's impact, but rather maximizes the individual's importance. That's why its mentioned, I think. Really its the Suns' fault for allowing those shots to be hit.
